Tuesday Morning Sketches #275

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday!  We have a great sketch up and waiting for you on the TMS blog and this week is the Judged Challenge so there's an added twist - that is perfect for this time of year.

This week's sponsor is Digital Delights by Looby Lou.  My card features the adorable Haystacks the Scarecrow image.  The twist this week is to add Pumpkins or Leaves.

I created this card with some great (surprisingly) Kraft card stock that I got from Michael's.  It's a deeper shade of Kraft than I normally work with and I just love it.  It's so warm and beautiful.  I usually only like Michaels card stock for layering, but it worked great for my card bases.  I embossed on layer with a woodgrain embossing folder.  Then I cut out a leaf using the Foliage Spellbinders die from More Mustard and inked the edges.  I then made an easy pumpkin from an oval punch using Pumpkin Pie and some random decorative paper that was sitting on my table.  I matted the focal image to piece of scrap burlap.  It's very earthy and screams Fall!

I hope you head on over to the TMS blog to join us.  Have a fantastic day!

The Recollections kraft is my go-to - it IS a lovely warm colour, and sturdy for techniques :) I love that pumpkin, and the burlap mat is perfect!
