Tuesday Morning Sketches #539

Hello!  Thank you for stopping by.  The latest revisited sketch is posted on the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog.  I think this is a classic sketch and it's so much fun.  I mean there is so much possibility.  Windows... shakers... it doesn't have to be circles.

My card features Spellbinders Small Dies of the Month - the circles are from June 2019 and the sentiment from December 2019.  The paper is from Pink & Main.

The card stock - Not Quite Navy (SU!) and the other 2 shades are from Raisin Boat.  I finished it off with Nuvo Drops.

I love how this turned out.  I cut my strip of solid card stock and then took the dies and cut the circles out.  Then I created the kaleidoscope circles and fit it into the openings.  So you can kinda see the stripe paper through the kaleidoscope.  This is a great card for a guy or girl and honestly, with that sentiment I have had the Pink Floyd song "Hey You" stuck in my head!  LOL

I hope to see you over at the TMS blog to join the challenge but please be sure to leave the team some love!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #538

Hello!  Thank you so much for stopping by.  Kitty's pick for the next revisited sketch is posted on Tuesday Morning Sketches and this one is so much fun.  I have to tell you a funny story, this sketch was originally posted on August 6th and I actually reached for the stamp set that I used to make this first time.  LOL - I didn't even realize it until I went looking back!

So this card features things I have a long time.  A mini envelope punch from McGill, butterfly punch from Martha Stewart, decorative paper from Pink and Main, dots embossing folder from Darice and floral embossing folder from Cricut and the card stock is Sweet Cheeks from Raisin Boat.

I love this card - it's happy!  I mean honestly, who could be down with all these polka dots!  I did put a little square of vellum inside the envelope to tone down the dots a little.  I love this card - I said that already, but now you know how happy this card made me.

I do hope you'll head on over to TMS blog to join us.  Please leave some love for the team, too.  They work so hard.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #537

Hello! Thank you so much for stopping by!  The next re-visited sketch is up and this one is Debbie's favorite sketch.  I enjoyed playing with this one again - I hope you will join us and enjoy the sketch, too.

My card features stamps and dies from Concord and 9th.  I love this set!!  I think their turn about stamps are the coolest - this one came in their first kit.  Bloom something.

I used ink colors by Kelly Purkey - the sad part is, they don't have names, but it is a lovely color palette.  I also used a few pieces from the December Glimmer kit by Spellbinders and some gold foil, I also used a gold gel pen, too, for some added interest and shine.

Thank you for stopping by and we'll see you over at the TMS blog.  Be sure to leave the team some love!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #536

Hello!  Thank you for stopping by.  Happy New Year to you, I hope that 2020 is filled with blessing, happy experiences and lots of crafty goodness.

The sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and it's the first of our re-visited sketches.  Andrea picked one of Debbie's sketches and her favorite and I couldn't agree more.  This one is a good one.  I love it's openness - there is so much possibility.

My card features Glimmer Hot Foil plates and foil by Spellbinders.  Debbie gifted me the sentiment plate that she picked up at her local Hobby Lobby on clearance for $0.79!  I never get that lucky at my Hobby Lobby.  The border is from the December Glimmer of the month from Spellbinders.

It's really hard to photograph foil but I think this picture is cool!  The foil is holographic so in the right light, it brings out a rainbow of color!  The little circle element and butterflies are from the different Small Dies of the Month kits from Spellbinders.

If you look at the border, this is what the foil looks like on the roll.

I just love all that shimmer and color!  It's so beautiful.  And the sentiment is fantastic.  I mean how much more encouraging could you be.  Thank you Debbie for the wonderful gift.

I hope to see you over at the TMS blog to join us.  The sketch was first featured back in June and we had 21 players - please help us beat that number.
