Fabulous Friday

Good Morning!  Happy Friday to you!  I hope your week was a good one.

I'm pretty excited to share my project with you today.  It's featuring the Cuppa Love set from Deedee's Digis and it's pretty exciting over there.  Deedee is running a Buy Two Get One Free sale!  What a great way to stock on your favorite images, get some adorable new ones and be ready for World Card Making Day tomorrow.  Also, Deedee's Digis is participating in the Crafters Digital Art Center blog hop.  So this is a weekend that is totally packed with papercrafting goodness!!!

Alright, one of the requirements for Deedee's Digis design team is we have to make something other than card.  I have to admit, I don't remember that so I hope I am making up for my forgetfulness now.  I made a gift box using cardboard coasters.  This project was inspired by the color challenge over at Design Dollies which is Lavender, Tan and Navy.

Here's my gift box.  I am disappointed in my pictures in that you can't see what's in the bag.  I thought I had it high enough to see a whole bag of yummy coffee beans, which is why I "posed" it with my favorite purple Longaberger coffee mug.

On this side you can see one of the wonderful sentiments that is included in Cuppa Love set.

On this side is one of the coffee mugs.  In my photo editing software, I broke apart the coffee mugs and cleaned up any stray lines.

And here's the other mug.  Notice the sweet roses at the rim of the mug....

For this side, I cropped the roses out of mug, again using my photo editing software.  Cut them out and adhered them to the box.  I purposely left the lower part of the box blank so that a gift tag could be attached here.

Supplies:
Card stock:  Neenah Classic Crest, Night of Navy, Perfect Plum
Paper:  unknown
Copics:  B95, B97, B99, E34, E37, V91, V93, V95, YG03, YG67
Tools:  Cuttlebug, Perfectly Paisley embossing folder, Labels One (Spellbinders), white gel pen, cello bag, coasters, hot glue gun
Embellishments:  Tan twill ribbon, Purple satin ribbon (Offray)

I hope you like my project and that you'll join in on the CDAC blog hop, Deedee's Digis sale and there's still time to participate in the Happy Monday challenge.  Have a super crafting weekend!
