Tuesday Morning Sketches #146

Good Morning!  We're here - it's another Tuesday and we have a sketch that I hope you're going to enjoy.  The team has created such a wide spectrum of cards so you're sure to have some inspiration to your creativity.

Our challenge this week is sponsored by DRS Designs and I want to say thanks for providing us some awesome stamps to play with.  My card features Irish Friendship Greeting (348H) and Three Butterflies (744F).

I have always admired cards that have those cool backgrounds that have been spritzed with that stuff that I don't know what it's called.  I created my own using Distress Ink and water on my Stamp-a-jig plastic sheet.  Then I just hit my card stock onto the plastic to pick up the ink.  I loved the effect!

I also made my own flowers using an .svg from My Time Made Easy.  I am so happy with card.  I hope you like it, too.

Supplies:
Stamps: Irish Friendship Greeting (348H), Three Butterflies (744F) (DRS Designs), Live Love, Laugh (Raisin Boat)
Ink: Pear Tart (Memento), Tea Dye & Walnut Stain Distress Inks (Ranger)
Tools: Cricut, Branch svg, Spiral Daisy svg (MTME), corner rounder (SU!), watercolor brush
Card stock: Mud Pie (Raisin Boat), Pumpkin Pie (SU!), Summer Sunrise (PTI)
Copics: C5, C7, YR04, YR07

Love how the background turned out - I want to try that! Did you use a reinker or just press the inkpad onto the plastic? Lovely sentiment & the flowers are sweet!
