Silhouette Sunday

Hello Everyone!  I hope you all are enjoying that extra hour (if you got one).  I know I am but it still feels like the day is going by way too quickly for everything I want to do today.

This week's project is one I created for a cousin (a couple times removed) who asked me to help her capture a very precious moment in her life.  The picture was taken in her mother's last days and it's so special.

I made the frame using a shadow box frame by Lori Whitlock.  The flowers are by Jamie Lane Designs.  The vine and words are random cut files that I found in the Silhouette Online store.  I did cut a doily out of vellum but I ended up covering up most of it.  The pearls, I got a package of beads from Walmart for $1 and strung them - I adhered them using Glossy Accents.

Here's a better look at the pearls and lace doily.  I dotted a bit sequins around, too.

I think this one word says it all.  I did cover the letters using Wink of Stella clear glitter pen just to give it a little bit of pop.

I thank Loretta for giving me the opportunity to create something so beautiful for her.  In her thank you note to me she expressed how much she and her husband loved it.

Thanks for stopping by.

That is an incredible memory to capture, and such a beautiful way to do it. What an honour :')
