Tuesday Morning Sketches #517

Hello and thank you for stopping by.  The latest sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and it's by Debbie.  It's sure to become a go to sketch of yours!

My card features stamps from Gina K, sentiment stamp/die from Simon Says Stamp and an old paper pad from my stash.  This was a very hard card for me to make.  I don't like making Sympathy cards so I really struggled with this and I'm still not super happy with the results.

This paper pad has nice cheery colors of turquoise and yellow and grays.  When I was done I realized I picked mostly the grays so it made this card dreary.  But it is what it is and I hope my message to my friend who lost her father this past week will bring comfort and that she knows I am thinking about her.

Please come see us at Tuesday Morning Sketches blog.  We'd love to have you join us.

I don't think this is the slightest dreary, in fact I think it's beautiful.

I think sympathy cards are difficult, too, but you did it with this one. It is beautiful! I don't think it's dreary at all.

Adding the prayers die cut pulls the eye to that pretty flower. Lovely card!
