Tuesday Morning Sketches #654

Hello!  Thank you for stopping by.  The latest sketch is up on Tuesday Morning Sketches and its a really good one by Debbie.  I enjoyed using it for my card.

This card features Glimmer Plates by Spellbinders that I have had for ages.  I don't use my hot foil machine nearly enough.  But I hosted a challenge with my card traders group just to pull out my machine and dust it off.

I guess I am in a blue phase because I can't seem to stop using it lately.  I foiled the circle and foliage directly on my card base and then cut it out using the wonky stitched rectangle die from Kat Scrapiness.  I also foiled some flowers and leaves and then using the matching dies I cut those images out.  I did color them a little using my Copic markers and I really like how this looks - it's so soft.  I also foiled the sentiment onto some black card stock and then die cut it out.  My card is black so I put a white panel inside for writing.  And after I glued it on I had to smack myself upside my head.  I should have foiled on the inside, too!  Duh!

Please head on over to the TMS blog to ooh and aah over what the team made, leave them some love and then join us so we can ooh and aah, too!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #652

Hello! Thank you for stopping by.  I appreciate you taking the time to visit me.  The latest sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and it's a fun one.  Easy going.  Open canvas.

My card features dies from i-Crafter.  This is the Llama Add-On for the oval pop box.  I never got a chance to play with it before my time on the team came to an end but I needed a birthday card so it was time to finally break this out.

As you can see, I didn't make it into a pop box.  I used a stencil and some Distress Oxide Ink to make the background.  Then I die cut the llama and pieced all it's decoration.  The banners came from a different die set from i-Crafter - the gable box, I think.  The scalloped border I made using a inverted scallop frames from Pink & Main and the sentiment is from Spellbinders.  Then I exploded confetti everywhere using different colors of Nuvo Drops.

It's a fun card!  I hope it inspires you to go crazy with color and fun some fun.  Now head on over to the TMS blog to join the fun.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #651

Hello friends.  Thank you for stopping by.  I do appreciate your visit.  The latest sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and it's a pretty one by Debbie.

My card features flower dies from Spellbinders June 2020 small die of the month, March 2022 embossing folder of the month, a stencil that I used a svg cut from Silhouette Design Studio to create and the sentiment is from the gable box die set from i-Crafter.

I used a piece of watercolor paper for my base.  I spritzed with water then put the stencil down.  Then I sprayed it with Tumbled Glass Distress Stain.  After it dried I embossed it.  I am obsessed with this embossing folder.  It's so pretty!  I die cut the flower petals from white card stock and colored them with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink and C05 Copic marker.  The sentiment I cut out 4 times so that it had some super dimension to stand up from that embossing.

I hope you found some inspiration in this card.  Now head on over to the TMS blog to see what the team created and meet the new team members!
