Christmas Countdown

Good Morning! It's Monday and we're counting down the days to Christmas. We're actually done with the shopping, sort of and the tree got decorated last night.

Beginning Friday, December 18th, The Greeting Farm is doing a 12 Days of Sketches challenge. You all know how I love sketches! So of course I jumped on this. I am very frustrated though because for some reason, I can't get into TGF store (my hubby will like that) or the Galleria to upload my cards. But here's the card I made with the Day 1 sketch that was provided by Cindy Haffner.

This is Elf Anya - I so happy when I was able to get her on the recent one day sale that Marie had. I have to admit, I often have a hard time with traditional Christmas colors, but with Anya's face - who cares about the colors! LOL


My card is a pocket card and quite by accident. I had a piece of left over card stock that I had printed out some digi stamps and had cut one image out in a circle shape. That part became the notch to the pocket card. The Happy Holidays sentiment is from Keep Cozy set and the inside sentiment is from All The Scraps.

Now, today I am back in my craft room. I have two sketches to work on, Tuesday Morning Sketches work to do and I am planning on just enjoying my markers today. I wasn't in the craft room at all since Friday afternoon. I had a Christmas gift I had to finish and I finally did yesterday morning - but then Sunday was filled with laundry, movies with my hubby and decorating the tree. Oh, but I did promise the kids a snowball fight today!
