Good Morning! Hip-hip-hooray, it's FRIDAY!! I am so excited that the weekend is almost here. I have just been waiting and waiting for today to show you this card. You all know how I feel about snowmen. And if you don't, well, let me tell me you.... I love love lovey them sooo much!
This card features one of the adorable Joey Snowman (6) images from StampFairy.
My monthly card traders group issued a challenge we called 'hot tissue.' Many have done this technique with pretty napkins, but this time it was supposed to be with pretty tissue paper. I didn't have any in my stash, but I did have white, so I made it pretty with my stamps. Then you crumple it up, smooth it out and iron it onto a piece of cardstock with a sheet of plastic wrap between the tissue and card stock.
Supplies:
Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Brocade Blue, Night of Navy (SU!), White (JoAnns)
Stamps/Ink: Stick Together (TSG), Night of Navy, Bashful Blue, Brocade Blue, Bordering Blue
Copics: B000, B95, B97, B99, YR16
Tools: tissue paper, plastic wrap, iron, scallop punch, 1 3/8" punch, white gel pen
Embellishments: silver satin ribbon (Offray)
I hope you enjoy my card and that you can see why I was so excited to share it with you. I think it's really cute! Be sure to check out what the rest of team made to share with you, too, over at StampFairy World.
