Paper Pretties Monday

Good Morning!  Did you have a good weekend?  Mine was super busy.  Back to school shopping, it was the tax free weekend.  I think we got it all, too, but I'm sure when they actually start school next week the schools will have more needed items.

This week's challenge is at Paper Pretties is us and we're playing with SCALLOPS.  My card features an adorable new image by ARTish called Ribbons.  I went with a fairly clean and simple card with a sketch from The Sweet Stop.

I love the splash of blue for both ribbons against the black and white.  I added some whiskers to his cute little face with a white gel pen as well as some highlights here and there.

Supplies:
Image:  Ribbons
Card stock:  Neenah Classic Crest, Black (Recollections)
Paper:  Glitter matstack (DCWV)
Copics:  BG01, BG05, C5, C7, C8, R02, R11, W-0, W-2
Tools:  Cuttlebug, Scallop Ovals Nesties (Spellbinders), sm/lg oval punches (SU!), white gel pen
Embellishments:  blue binding (Offray), white embroidery floss

There's always SOMETHING that wasn't on the list...sigh...lol. I know it's impossible to predict everything they'll need. I wish we had a tax-free shopping time for back to school! Heck, I wish I could find every single colour of duo-tang I have to come up with :) Do your kids head back in August?
As for your card - love the pops of blue, and that cat is cool :)
