Hi everyone! Happy Sunday evening. I just thought I'd post a card real quick that I made to play along with a couple of challenges. This is my reward for finally finishing up my sister's birthday project and taking it to the post office. Whoo-hoo!! I can't wait for her to share it with everyone, but I didn't take photos because she needs to be the first to see it.
Anyway, so I created a card to play along with the sketch at My Favorite Things and the challenge at The Kraft Journal (just in under the wire!) - reuse/recycle. My take on the challenge is scraps and recycling a card base of a card I didn't like so much.
I love this card because it's my favorite things all in one, my favorite color purple, my favorite card stock Kraft (now that I'm a bit more comfortable with it) and my most favorite thing to have... COFFEE!! Oh my goodness, got pumpkin spice coffee K-cups from Dunkin' Donuts. Mmmmm.... Happiness in a cup.
Well, I am off to make dinner for me and the kids. Beefy burritos. Enjoy your Sunday night.

3 Encouraging Thoughts:
Pumpkin spice coffee...now why hasn't Tim Horton's figured that out? That sounds SO good. Pumpkin donuts & muffins are my favourite...pumpkin-flavoured everything season is probably why I like autumn so much :)
WOOOT on finishing Theresa's project!
And, yes, coffee solves everything. I want a cup in her size ;) Love the green & purple colour combo - super funky!
Recycling an old card is such a great idea for a recycle challenge !! Very cute, and fun fall card ! Thanks so much for joining in this week at The Kraft Journal !!
I want some beefy burritos...I got a Keuring for my b-day and you're right coffee solves everything. Fabulous card. I don't think I would've ever put purple and green together.
