Good Morning! Quick post here - I didn't set up my blog posts last night because of a personal matter so now I'm scrambling to get it up this morning and I really should be getting ready for work!
This week's sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and we're sponsored this week by There She Goes Stamps. Yay!!!
Here's my take on this week's sketch. My card features one of my favorite TSG sets, What's up Buttercup. I didn't even use Copics to color this - I watercolored. I tried to pretend that I'm Sandra McClain and color like she did. I didn't do as great as she does, but it's not too bad.
OK - I really have to run. Have a great day and if I missed anything, I will come back and fix it up later. Have a great Tuesday!

10 Encouraging Thoughts:
Love this,great design and colours.xxx
Such a pretty card. Very creative use of the images -- so like how the bigger flowers are used in front of the row of smaller flowers. Lovely.
I love the crumpled layer! Such a cool effect :)
Beautiful card Melissa! Love the added texture by crumpling the paper!
What a great card! I love the texture you gave to the card and your watercoloring came out great! Side note, I emailed you but it came back to me....thank you for the package! It will be such a blessing and encouragement!
Awesome watercolor-ing!! I love the crumpled paper!!
So pretty Melissa! Love the distressed look. I almost chose this same border die, but switched it as the last minute. So lovely!
Hmm, i don't know who Sandra is but you totally made this awesome! I love the distress paper in the background.
I really like your card. I love the crinkled paper. Of course you used one of my favorite sets.
Pretty! Your watercoloring turned out great, and I love the crumpled paper. Have you ever heard of gouache paint? It's basically opaque watercolor paint. I'm going to give it a try as another medium to use on cards.
