Tuesday Morning Sketches #383

Good Morning!  Are you all ready for Christmas?  I'm nearly there.  I just need to get everything wrapped.  But it would help if I would pick up some wrapping paper.

There's no sketch for Tuesday Morning Sketches - it's time for our annual Anything Goes Challenge.  It runs for two weeks so you have lots of time to join us.

Today I'm sharing my Christmas card that I made for extended family members.  I do wish I'd take pictures of the cards I made for my mom and sisters, but the need to get them in the mail on time this year was much more pressing then taking pictures.  I like this one, too.  Very organic and nature.  It sort of reminds me of my dad.

I designed this card using a simple snowflake cut file placed inside a rectangle.  Then backing it with a plaid pattern decorative paper.  Using my MISTI I added the sentiment and then embellished simply with a larger size gold sequin and simple gold cording.  I picked up a package of kraft envelopes from Michaels with a 50% off coupon and then stamped on them and added a little bit of washi.  Simple and cute.

Be sure to stop by the TMS blog for more inspiration from the design team and I'll be adding some other projects as I get them finished.  And I'll reveal what the prize will be!

Great idea to decorate the envelopes, too.
