Tuesday Morning Sketches #424

Hello friends.  Thank your for stopping by - I do appreciate and thank you for your visit. The sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and it's a really fun one.  Super duper basic with easy elements and so open to interpretation.

My card(s) feature the October kit from Simon Says Stamp.  The papers that were included in this kit are absolutely gorgeous and can't be found anywhere!  LOL  It's called Blush by My Mind's Eye.  I think I need a new embossing buddy because I didn't get clean embossing results even though I used it quite liberally.

This one features darker paper base - both cards are on bases made from Smoke card stock from Simon.  I love love LOVE this embossing powder that was also included - it's a navy blue but very shimmery.  So pretty!  This one was my sister's favorite...

This one is the same but with a lighter base.  Which is your favorite?

My favorite is the metallic one (first). It really stands out beautifully. I like everything about it from the hearts on the corner to the sweet sentiment to those swirly circle flowers on the opposite corners of the sentiment. Just lovely!

From the polka dots to the patches of color, these cards look so cute! I'm loving those wonky flowers and funky hearts too! GJ!

Great cards Melissa! My favorite is the top one. I ALWAYS have issues when heat embossing too. That stuff sticks everywhere that you don't want it! LOL

These are both beautiful!! I think I'm a bit partial to the blue one though. Wonderful paper!!!

I think these are both wonderful Melissa but as for me I love the second one the most. It's so hard to tell with shimmery cards based on photos though, I may say oh my yes the first one! I love Simon Says Stamp too. :) Thanks so much for all you do and the inspiration too!
