Tuesday Morning Sketches #504

Hello! Thank you for stopping by.  The latest sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and it's a fun one.  I like all the elements on this sketch and honestly I think I designed around all the Nuvo Drops I have.  LOL

My card features this adorable stamp and embossing folder combo that I found at Michaels for $2.  Who can pass that up?  I also used a couple of my Spellbinders dies, some heart sprinkles by Doodlebug Designs and lots of Nuvo Drops - well, in 3 colors anyway.

I embossed a panel with the folder.  Its orientation is meant for a portrait card, but the sketch is landscape and  I wanted to keep it that way for sketch and to ensure I have enough room on the card for all the elements.  So I just moved it over, lined up the design and ran it through my Cuttlebug again.  It did put a line in the paper but that's easily disguised.  Then I lightly ran an ink pad over the embossed panel so that only the embossed part would pick up a bit of ink.  I stamped the fox and colored him with just a few Copic colors and then fussy cut it out.  The rest of the elements are left overs from a past Simon Says Stamp kit.  I think the border die I used is from MFT but I don't remember - it might be from CC Designs.  Nevertheless, it's retired wherever it's from.

I hope to see you at TMS blog with your creation.  Have a great week!
