Hello! Thank you for stopping by. I do appreciate your visit. The re-visited sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and this week's pick is by Debbi, she chose Andrea's tall and skinny card sketch.
I'm still not a big fan of this style card, but I have to say that this one came together so easily so maybe I'm finally grasping the concept. I made two cards with this sketch. Both cards feature items of the Simon Says Stamp January kit. The stamp set is called Snowflake Season. For this first card I also used card stock that came in the kit. Let me tell you, I am not a fan of this shade of pink, I don't do very well with brights but when I finished this card, I was a little impressed with myself.
The second card I made is a standard A2 size card. This time I used some purple card stock that I have in my stash and a different piece of patterned pattern that was also included in the kit.
I love how these cards turned out and I know you may be thinking pink and purple snowflakes. Well I guess pink and purple is as real as snowflakes in Florida!
I do hope to see you over at the TMS blog. Come on by, leave some love for the team and join in on the fun. See you there!

So good that you went out of your comfortzone, Melissa. Love the first card very much.
Number 2 is also beautiful.

Beautiful cards. I can't quite wrap my head around using an aqua shimmer pen on the pink snowflake. It's certainly very pretty.
I like both cards Melissa also the used colors are great!
