Hello! Thank you for stopping by. I am glad you're here. The latest sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and it's a fun one by Andrea. I know I loved playing with it!
My card features elements from a die set that released yesterday on i-Crafter. The die set is called Rocker Card and it's a really fun card, kind of a cross between step card and a round card. It's really pretty, I highly recommend you check it out.
I admit, this card may be a bit more Spring-ish than our current season, but I really wasn't ready to make th is bird a cardinal and have the card be more Christmasy. So I went with a bluejay. I love how this turned out! I had fun mixing some papers from Pink and Main for some different pattern and texture, yet it's not like in your face loud. I also looked up pictures of bluejays and they have the darker blue lines in their tails, so I created that with an edge of a sponge. I think this a great note card. What do you think?
I'd love it if you left me a comment. Then head on over to the TMS blog to leave some love to the Design Team and join the challenge. I'll see you there.
