Tuesday Morning Sketches #720

Hello! Thanks for stopping by.  The latest sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and I'm going to be completely honest, it stumped me and I drew it!  I had such a hard time figuring out what I wanted to do.  Crazy how that happens sometimes.

This card, I let some old paper do the work and I'm still not entirely happy with this card.  What do you think?

This card features dies from Spellbinders but I really tried to make the paper stand out.  It's okay, still not my best work.  It's just too hot to be creative!  My electric bill is something of another world and I'm so tired of this heat.  You know what else I'm tired of?  My paper.  ** GASP!!  ** Did I really just say that?  Yes, I did.  I need a refresh.  So I've decided when it's not so dadgum (my Dad just came out of my mouth) hot, I'm going through all my old matstacks and scraping the scraps and donating the rest.  It's time for a refresh on the patterned paper.  Do you ever feel like that about your stash?

Please join us at TMS for this week's challenge - I really want to see what you create.

It is pretty although very busy patterns. I like the way the coordinating pieces are showcased. I do have to stop frequently and straighten up my space when it gets so bad I can't find what I want. I too get tired of all the paper leftovers and do toss them.

This is very pretty! I love the colors!
I hear you about the paper! I look at some of my stash and wonder what on earth possessed me to buy that! LOL

I gave away 75% of my paper when I moved last year but some of what I have left, although it was my favorites I'm still even getting tired of too. That is an inspiring concept...let us know how it goes! I do think the paper you used here is just gorgeous though!! I also think your card is better than you think -lol we are our own worst critic.

Pretty. I like when papers come with a shiny element. Looks embossed without all the work. Try to stay cool!
