Sweet Sketch Wednesday #59

Good Morning!  Happy Wednesday.  As usual Arlana has a great sketch for us to work with and we have one of our favorite sponsors, too.  Digi Stamp Boutique is sponsoring and as always there's a great prize for the winner!

So here's the sketch...

This is such a fun sketch and with Digi Stamp Boutiques wonderful images, the possibilites are limitless.  Here's what I did with it...

The image I used is Skater Francis and he's just so adorable!!  I really liked this sketch because I was able to pull out some tools that I haven't used in a little while and not that I live in Florida, I think this will be the only snow I see for quite some time.

In this photo you can see that glitter highlights I added to the snowflake.  It reminds me of how the snow looks that hasn't been disturbed by footprints and th sun is shining on it.  Nature's true dazzling diamonds!

Supplies:
Card stock:  Neenah Classic Crest, shades of blue from Cape Cod pack (Recollections)
Copics:  B000, B00, BG01, BG05, BV00, BV02, C8, C10, YR16
Ink:  Broken China (Distress ink by Ranger)
Tools:  CM oval cutters, Nesties scallop oval, Nesties Snowflakes 2, Cuttlebug, Snowflakes CB embossing folder
Embellishments:  Stitched ribbon (SU), sugar-coated brads (Doodlebug), Diamond stickles

I hope you enjoy my card, I'm really pleased with how it turned out.  Now head on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday to find out how to play along.  Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Hi Melissa, I love your card that image is just so cute. Isn't it nice to be able to use equipment that just sits there sometimes I did the same myself this week. I must get the Snowflake not sure to get the Cuttlebug or Spellbinders what do you think? Our Christmas here in New Zealand is hot and it's BBQ time I find it hard to put snow and icicles on cards but it does look so good.
Take care and I do hope you have a great week.
Hugs
