Fabulous Friday

Good Morning!  Happy Friday!

I have a card to share with you today that I created using Deedee's Digis and other stamps.  This is for the Crafts 4 Eternity challenge - which is a great sketch, your favorite color and your favorite image.  Since every image I own whether digi or rubber stamp are my favorites, that part of the challenge was easy.  My favorite color is purple (just not royal purple) and the sketch was great to work with.

I had a little trouble with my favorite color - I love purple but its funny that I don't have any dp in purple shades so I set out to create my own.  First I embossed a background and hit it lightly with ink and a sponge.  Next for the two strips I stamped polka dots and for those of you who know me, know that I consider polka dots a color.  The other strip I stamped some words across it that you can't see, but I think it adds a really nice texture.
