Good Morning! I received an email about 5 days ago from the very sweet Korin Sutherland of Sweet n Sassy Stamps asking me if I'd like to be the August Guest Designer of The Sweet Stop challenge blog. It took me all of two seconds to make up my mind. I have two companies that it is my deepest desire to design for and Sweet n Sassy is one of them. I was blessed when I was featured on the Sweet n Sassy Digi blog and now I feel even more blessed to be the challenge blog's guest designer. OK I'll stop gushing. Here's the awesome sketch we're working with this week...
And here's what I did with it...
Isn't it pretty? Boy, that was humble! LOL Anyway, I am really pleased with how this turned out. I bought this paper on sale 5 for $1 at JoAnn's the other day to make card kits, but I bought extra because it's so pretty. Well, it was sitting on the corner of my table begging me to use it. So I did!
Supplies:
Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Lemonade (Core'dinations), Certainly Celery (SU)
Paper: Yellow and Sage Stripes (Colorbok)
Stamps/Ink: April Daisy (SNSS), Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Copics: Y11, Y15, YG00, YG03
Tools: Cuttlebug, Frills embossing border (Cuttlebug), 1 1/4" & 1 3/8" circle punches, scallop punch (SU)
Embellishments: brads (American Crafts), buttons (American Crafts), ribbon (Offray)
I am really excited about this month! It's going to be a fun one. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a super Saturday.
