'Tis better to give.... Deedee's Digis Blog Hop

** If you're here for my StampFairy post, please scroll down.  But feel free to read this post, too!  **

The holiday season is upon us -- a blessed time of love and laughter, precious moments spent with family, good food aplenty, and, for many of us, gifts and giving. Now, we can almost hear the chorus of groans at that last part -- LOL! Yes, holiday gift giving can be stressful, especially when budgets are tight, gift lists are long, and the pressure is on to "shop 'til you drop." Well, we of the Deedee Digis design team firmly believe that gift-giving should be a joyful experience all the way around. That's why we have come together today to share with you some ideas of fabulous gifts that you can make, so that your gifts this year are meaningful, affordable, and hopefully as stress-free as possible. Join us today on our blog hop as we show you why
"'tis better to give" -- because not only will you have fun giving these gifts, but making them as well! :-)

If this is your first stop on the hop, be sure to visit the Crafting with Deedee's Digis blog, where you will find the directions for the hop, a chance to win the grand prize of a $15 credit to our store, AND a little gift for you!

Our assignment for this blog hop was to create stocking stuffers.  I went through so many ideas to do for this hop, I cannot even begin to tell you.  I decided that covering a chocolate bar, although not a new idea, was the best one to show you.  If you have a membership at shopping club warehouse, this is a very economical way to create lots of stocking stuffers that everyone on your list will love.  This is also a great idea if you want to create super easy treats for your co-workers.  I used the Beauty of the Season digi stamp set.  I resized the poinsettia a couple of times so that I can layer, cut out two of them and adhered with pop dots.

Supplies:
Card stock:  Neenah Classic Crest
Paper:  Christmas Mat Stack (DCWV)
Copics:  R27, R29, YR23, YG63, YG67
Embellishments:  Moss satin ribbon (Offray)

Your next stop on the hop is Paula.  But before you leave, please be sure to leave me a comment in order to be entered to win a free digi of your choice from the Deedee's Digis store! You have until 12 noon Eastern
Time on Sunday to comment. All winners will be announced on Monday at Crafting with Deedee's Digis be
sure to check back then to see if you've won. Thanks so much for joining us today, and happy holidays to you!

Gorgeous, Melissa! I think it's safe to say that I have never seen a prettier bar of chocolate. If I received it, I'm not sure I'd want to eat it, it's so pretty -- then again, it IS chocolate -- LOL! Thanks for sharing this lovely idea! Hugs, Deedee
