Hello everyone! It's the beginning of another week and what better way to start the week off than a Happy Monday - Happy Monday Challenge that is. This week's challenge is Kids Need Love, Too. Every month, Deedee challenges us to create a friendship card and actually mail it to that friend. This week we're challenged to create a kid's card and mail it to a child.
So here's my card, featuring Smooth Sailing....
Choosing primary colors made this a kid's card for me. What do you think? I did use a great sketch by Lisa Sommerville on her blog Splendiferous Creations.
Supplies:
Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Bashful Blue, Brocade Blue, Barely Banana
Copics: B00, B000, B02, B05, R27, R29, Y06
Tools: Circle cutter (CM), Corner Rounder (CM), Cuttlebug, D'Vine Swirls emb folder
Embellishments: Rhinestone squares (unk), blue satin ribbon (Offray)
I hope you join us this week over at Happy Monday. You'll have a great time and you'll make a child smile.

2 Encouraging Thoughts:
I like the water themed card! The primary colors does make it a 'kid' card, great job Melissa!
I think it's perfect! Great colors, and I like how the sketch lends itself to the water theme so well. Love the moon (or is it the sun?) behind the boat. So fun!
