Delightful Challenges

Hi there - thanks for coming back and being so patient with me.

This week's challenge at Delightful Challenges is STITCHING.  Now this could be real or faux and since my sewing machine is in serious need of a tune up, I did faux stitching with my white gel pen

I used Bumblebee Larry and some fabulous Echo Park paper.  I will sharpen up my post with some other details when I get home tonight, please forgive me.  I know the layout is from The Sweet Stop.  I'm using a favorite sketch SSS111.  I did have to drop the sentiment a bit lower than on the sketch, but I'm still happy with my results.

Supplies:
Image: Bumble Bee Larry
Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest
Paper: Country Drive (Echo Park)
Copics: BG01, BG05, BG10, BG15, C-5, C-7, C-8, E000, E00, R11, Y06, Y11, Y15
Tools: Circle cutter (CM), Cuttlebug, Scallop circle nesties (Spellbinders), Scallop border punch(Martha Stewart), white gel pen
Stamps/Ink: Bee Happy (TSG), Soft Sky (SU!), Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Embellishments: button (Buttons Galore), Buttercream Baker's Twine (SNSS)

Melissa,

I thought this was real stitching! You did an amazing job with that little gel pen! I just love everything about this card! I love the color combination that you used, the stamp, the button, this card is just too stinkin' cute!

Hugs,

Chriss

Super cute card, Melissa. That faux stitching is my favorite. If I can't use the sewing machine to mend my DH clothes...I can't justify sewing on a card. Lol
