It's such a lovely day today - know why? Because it's Tuesday and that means we have a new sketch, well, this one is old because we're remembering a previous sketch. And we have a great sponsor - My Creative Classroom is with us and offering a pretty sweet prize.
This week it's the Judged Challenge week, so Angela said we needed to play with animal images. OK! I'm in trouble - I don't have many of these types of stamps and I can't print digi's at the moment because I broke my printer. Yep! The one I just got a few months ago. Uh, yeah, it didn't appreciate being dropped in the move. But aside from the printer woes, what was I going to do for this challenge. Well, a very long time ago I used to do a lot of swaps on Splitcoast - love the card kit swaps. I have TONS of kits! So it was time I went through them and used them. This is what I came up with for my card thanks to a kit from swapper Linda Palmer.
I haven't played with Penny Black hedgies in forever! And it's perfect for the Christmas in July sale My Creative Classroom has going on.
I also created this scrapbook page minus the twist....
This is Hollyanne in the Jazz costume - Kansas City was the song they danced to. I love how this turned out!
Thanks for visiting me today and I do look forward to you playing along with us this week.
5 Encouraging Thoughts:
Adorable card, Melissa. I'm looking for "flatter" cards to send this year as it cost me a small fortune last Christmas. This one is delightful! I'm going to be remembering this when I start making my own cards. Just wonderful!
Bummer about your new printer! :( Hope you can get it fixed or replaced soon!
Love both of your projects! The black and white layout is stunning!
Oh no! Sorry about your printer!!
Your card is really cute!! These hedgies are adorable!! Pretty LO, too!
Printer woes...no good :( So picky, not wanting to be dropped & all. Sheesh! I love that page - what a fun costume! And the hedgie...totally adorable.
Last week, my printer died of old age. So digi work is on hold for the time being... I feel your pain, Melissa. On the bright side, you get to use your hoarded stash and come up with this lovely Christmas critter card. The LO is very classy.
