Good Morning! My sister is a 5th grade teacher and likes to reward her kids with special little things when they do well. I mean, who doesn't like a little treat now and then? Personally, I'll take chocolate, but....
Michelle released these adorable owls Wise Guys a couple of weeks ago and I am in love!! They are so darn cute. So I set out to create these....
I made my own "chalkboards" using my Silhouette Portrait by creating a basic frame. Then I just cut some black card stock to layer the frame on. I cut the letters out using a font that I have called Honey Script.
And my favorite owl of all....
I even tried to do some zentangle, which is my sister's newest passion. It looks like a 3rd grader did it, no offense to 3rd graders.
These are a really easy project and I think will be a hit with my sister's students. Have a great day! And don't forget to shop - Michelle is having a HUGE retirement sale that will end August 27th. Grab those favorites for $0.50 each now because they won't be available after the 27th.

1 Encouraging Thoughts:
Being an ex-teacher, I always think back to school in August. Love those cards. The owl is too cute!
Come and see what I've done lately!
