Bee Crafty #55 - Bling

Good Morning friends!  I hope your weekend is going well.  Mine?  So far so good.  I am sitting at my crafting table this morning with the hopes that I'll get much done to share with you this week.

Today's card is for the October challenge at Bee Crafty.  This month, we're playing with BLING!

My card features Whimsical Girl, one of my favorite Bee Crafty images.  It also features rhinestones and a silver metallic pen for stitching.

My card also fits the challenges at Papertake Weekly (sketch) and Dutch Dare who are playing bingo.  This is the only bingo game I'm any good at.  I did the diagonal with paper piecing, flowers and bling.

Delightful Challenges

Good Morning!  I hope your week is going well.  My children are off school today so it's sort of sad that they get to sleep in and I have to go to work.  *sigh*

Oh well, enough woes, let's talke about a super fun challenge over at Delightful Digis!  This week's challenge is...

Pearls & Swirls

Well, that to me spells super girly so I had Briley with Her Balloons come play along on my card.  I layout came from the talented team at Sketch & Stash.

Also per Sketch & Stash challenge, I used 3 types of paper and 3 flowers for embellishments.  This was such a fun card to put together and featuring such an adorable digi from Digital Delights by Looby Lou really finishes this off.  I even pulled out some super old paper from Stampin' Up!

Supplies:

Paper Pretties Monday

Good Morning!  I hope the weekend was what you wanted it to be.  I had an enjoyable one although yesterday I wasn't feeling the best and layed pretty low.  Not how I want to be spending my stamping Sundays.  Oh well - guess I just needed the down time.   The only card I managed to get done was the one I have to share with you today.

It's time for a new Paper Pretties digi challenge.  This is Swingin into Fall Bear and I {heart} him!

This week's challenge is Fall Inspired.

I pulled out some old papers from Papertrey Ink and used the colors from it to pull the rest of the card together for me.  I feels a bit Christmas-y but I still am pleased with how it turned out.

Supplies:
Images: Swingin' Into Fall Bear set

Card stock: Neenah Milled Ivory, Ruby Red, Old Olive
Paper: First Fruits collection (PTI)
Copics: C8, E29, E33, E34, E37, E53, G28, R11, R29, Y17, YR16, YR23
Embellishments: Pure Poppy satin ribbon (PTI), brads (Bazzill)
Tools: SCAL, Cricut

I also visited my friends at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.  I haven't played along much since I left the design team, but I do think about Arlana and her sweet sisters and team often.  Arlana's sketch was perfect for this card.

Thank you so much for visiting me today.  It's always so nice to have you drop by.

Paper Pretties Monday

Good Morning!  I hope you all had a great weekend.  I did.  Saturday I got up early to get my grocery shopping done, then spent the rest of the day hanging out with a friend of mine and his kids.  We had a blast.  I am so happy that his children and mine get along so well.  Then I got up early yesterday morning and managed to get 3 cards done before requiring my coffee!  Now that is an accomplishment.

Guess what!  I have picked up my crochet hook.  With a lot of soreness and stitches in and out and then back in again - I am crocheting an afghan for myself.  I realized that in all the years that I did crochet, I have never made anything for myself.  Since my sister's visit and watching her knit, it make me want to crochet again.  It may take me forever to get this afghan done - but I am having a great time doing it.

Enough about me - there is a great new challenge and release over at Paper Pretties.  We have a couple of new guys that are quite the characters releasing today.  I am featuring Elbram...

My card is created using the great sketch from Unscripted Sketches, using the color combo from My Time Made Easy and I was able to play along with my first DT ever at Corrosive Challenges because I used a really old punch.

Here's Elbram...

And the other release is Alley Gator

Supplies:
Image: Elbram, Elbram's Dust sentiment
Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Close to Cocoa, Garden Green, Regal Rose
Paper: Echo Park
Copics: BG01, BG05, BV02, G00, G02, G05, R02, R11, R27, V06, YR68
Tools: Square Punches (CM)

Now make your way over to Paper Pretties for more inspiration and to play along with this week's challenge....  BUTTONS.
