Good Morning! I am late posting on purpose. I did purposely wait to see what the new Just Magnolia challenge was for today and I am so glad I did. They have an absolutely fabulous sketch to work with! And I also found out that I won last week's challenge!! Whoo-hoo!!
So here's what I did with that great sketch...
I don't own the Magnolia image that she's holding a wooden spoon which is more fitting for cooking than her rolling pin - but sometimes we just have to do with what we've got, right?! And what's more is this is not actually a greeting card. It's a recipe card. Here's the inside....
Last weekend I had an apartment-full. My sister-in-law came up with her daughter and our niece and nephew. So my little place was filled with 6 kids and two adults. Knowing I was going to have so many I set out to make a dinner that feeds a lot pretty inexpensively. This is one of my children's favorite dinners, too, so I knew I was doing the right thing. My sister-in-law and the kids LOVED this dinner, so I thought I would combine my card and this recipe for her. I think it turned out really cute.
Supplies:
Card Stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Black & White (Recollections)
Paper: Veg Out digi paper (BellaGypsy - A Cherry On Top)
Copics: B000, E00, E02, E33, E37, E53, R00, R02, R27, R29, Y15, Y17, YR23
Tools: Threading Water border punch (Fiskars) 7/8", 1" circle punches
Embellishments: Ribbon (Offray), Vegetable from Veg Out digi paper pack (BellaGypsy)
I hope you like my card and that you try this recipe. It's really yummy!! Thanks for stopping by and Happy Friday!
