Good Afternoon! I am so sorry that I am late with my post. Yesterday was a very busy day for me, certainly not how I expected it to turn out - but all in all it was good except that I didn't get any cardmaking done.
But I am finally here with my Thursday's with Lindsay edition.
Oops, I shouldn't have shot this photo straight on. You can't tell that it's a recessed card. I followed the tutorial found on Splitcoast Stampers. Anyway, fun card to make - it just takes a little patience.
Supplies:
Images: Strawberries & Watermelon (Lindsay's Stamp Stuff)
Card Stock: Neenah Milled Ivory, Real Red
Paper: Uptown Houndstooth black (Lindsay's Stamp Stuff)
Copics: 100, E33, E37, G02, G05, R27, R29, RV000
Tools: Craft knife, ruler, sticky strip
I hope you like my card! Thank you for stopping by. Please be sure to visit Lindsay and the rest of the team, I'm sure they will have great things to show you!

I love it! I can definately tell that it is recessed. I thought it was a picture frame though. Lovely job!
This is great! love the houndstooth with the strawberry digis!
Oh wow Mel, I LOVE it. Love the black n white with the touch of red framing. It's soooo elegant and your coloring is awesome. Looks sooooo yummy. Awesome card girl, hugs!
I think it's fabulous Melissa! I thought you'd used a frame - I really like the illusion - between the recess and the pattern continuity - well done!!!!
Wow Melissa! I love this card so much and I could tell that it was recessed! Lol! This is so beautiful and I so need to do this. You will have to tell me how you did this! Kinda of reminds me of paper tole pictures that are recessed. Thanks for sharing sweetie. Hugs.
How wonderful, Melissa! Beautiful patterns and color scheme, and it's so great how you brought the basket to life with the brads on the handles. Now how in the world did you make it recessed like that? That is so neat! Hugs, Deedee
