Good Morning! Happy Tuesday - I love Tuesdays. Especially when I have a fun sketch to play with and I am proud of my card that I made to share with you. And then to add a cherry on top of all this fun, we're sponsored this week by Clear Dollar Stamps! This is a fabulous store and there are a couple of artists that are near and dear to my heart. Laurie Wilson and Deedee Anderson.
My card, I chose an adorable set by Deedee. I did go with her perfectly pre-colored images and I LOVE my card.
Cute, huh? I can't look at this card and not smile. Now I hope you head on over to Tuesday Morning Sketches to play along with us. The girls work so hard every week to inspire you.

Paper Pretties Monday
Good Morning! I hope you all had a great weekend. I sure did - it didn't go how I thought it was going to go. I was supposed to get an afternoon of no kids, but I ended up going to the beach with them instead. I planned an evening of stamping - which I did do, but I was a little way-laid when I got a phone call from an old friend. It was great to catch up with him, a lot changes in 10 years.
The challenge is up at Paper Pretties and I think you're really going to like this one! It's super easy, use...
ARTish also came up with some more cute digis. How does she do it? This is Smores and I paired him up with some super cute digi paper from My Time Made Easy. I followed the sketch from Sketches by Carly to create this cutie (if I say so myself)....
I tried to color the marshmallows to look like they're roasted. It didn't quite work out, but it still looks cute. Just focus on that calorie-free, fat-free, workout free chocolate!!
Supplies

Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Creamy Caramel (SU!)
Paper: Smore Smore's digi paper (MTME)

Delightful Challenges
Good Morning! It's Thursday - whoo-hoo!! One day closer to the weekend and the Delightful Challenges is here. Yay!
This week the challenge theme is Dog Days of Summer....
I've never really understood that expression, but Digital Delights by Looby Lou has some really super awesome summer digis that I'm sure will fit this challenge. Here's my card featuring Watermelon Time and Wicked Watermelon digi paper.
This doggie is pretty cute, so I figured he fit the dog days of summer theme. I love the digi papers, too. The colors are fabulous! And then I found this super duper ribbon in my stash - how perfect right? I did use the sketch from MTME Pretty Pattern for the layout.
Please join in the summer fun!

Good Morning! How are you today? I'm happy it's Tuesday because we have a great sketch up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and an awesome sponsor! Doodle Pantry is sponsoring us this weekend, I love love love Laurie's images.
So here's the card I created using pre-colored digis from the Digi Set: Little Frog Set. I love that Laurie gives you options. You can choose her already perfectly colored images and coordinating papers or you can color them yourself and still use the coordinating papers.
I am super pleased with how my card turned out. It went together really quick. I just added a bit of texture, bling and ribbon. Viola! It's a Hoppy card!
So head on over to TMS to see the sketch and to play along. You'll have a great time.

Paper Pretties Monday
Good Morning! Happy Monday to you. I'm sad the weekend is over. My Sunday wasn't as productive as I hoped it would it be. I started to work on projects, but my mojo just fizzled out. So I watched The Last Holiday instead. Love that movie!
So this week's challenge is up at Paper Pretties and this week we're making Clean and Simple cards. This is challenge for me because I feel that something is missing. But with the help of other challenge blogs, too, and not to mention an amazing new digi by ARTish, I made my card.
This is Clownin' Around...
As I said, I also drew inspiration from a couple of other challenge blogs. CAS-usal Friday said to make it a black base and there is an awesome sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. What do you think? I like it! The sentiment is from a stamp set available at Paper Pretties, stamped in Whisper White Craft ink.
You really should come play with us this week. You're sure to have a great time. Click here for the Paper Pretties Blog.

Just playing around.... Part 2
Good afternoon everyone! I have another card to share with you today. I'm playing along with All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge which is paper piecing. I took this to the extreme I think.
I pieced Santa Emma's outfit, I pieced the presents she's sitting on and I pieced the tree. I used my new favorite TSG set for the border piece and then I put it all together with a great sketch from Christmas Challenges. This was a fun card to create.
Supplies:
Stamps: Sugarplums Santa Emma, Christmas sentiment
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento), Bravo Burgundy (SU!), Staz-On Black
Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Handsome Hunter, Kraft (SU!)
Copics: B000, C5, C7, C10, E000, E00, E02, E13, E17, E18, E37, G05, R11
Paper: Christmas mat stack (DCWV)
Embellishments: Waterfall & Gold Stickles, Doily (Martha Stewart), White Liquid Applique

Good Morning! Happy Sunday. I hope you're having an enjoyable weekend. Mine has been pretty pleasant so far. Happy that it's not over yet. LOL
Anyway, I'm not sure if you're a Sweet n Sassy Stamps fan, but Korin and the team are celebrating Christmas in July and had a fun little blog hop for the new release of some super adorable stamps. Well, of course, I didn't want to be left out of the fun, so I created a card to play, too. I also incorporated the sketch from The Sweet Stop.
Thanks for the fun hop, Korin. Hope you like my card.

We also played with a fantastic sketch designed especially for LUFP by Me. I was absolutely thrilled that Yolanda asked me to design a special sketch for this event.
Here is my project:
So make sure you leave a comment on each stop. So let’s get hopping, celebrate courage and strength, and most importantly spread some Pink Hope.

Friday Feature with Raisin Boat
Good Morning! I hope you've had a great week. I know I am super happy its Friday - I am so ready for the weekend.
This month's challenge at Raisin Boat is really simple - Birthday. Just use your favorite Raisin Boat stamps to create a birthday card and you're in the running to win some fabulous RB stamps. Don't have any? Well, then it's a good time to start your trial membership. For $5.99 you get 2 stamp sets to play with and when you're done, you just send them back and anxiously await your next 2 stamp sets to arrive in your mailbox.
So here's the card I made to share with you today. I created it using the colors from ColourQ and the sketch from Sketch n Stash. My stashed item would have to be the embossing folder - haven't used that one in awhile.
My card features the All In Toile set. I kept it pretty simple, but I think it looks really elegant. It probably needs a bow or bling, but like it said I kept it pretty simple.
Now head on over to the Raisin Boat blog to play along with us.
Supplies:
Stamps: All In Toile (Raisin Boat)
Ink: Tuxedo Black, Rich Cocoa, Ladybug Red
Card stock: Kraft (SU!), Black Granite, Red Delicious (Raisin Boat)
Tools: border punch (EK Success), 7/8" & 1" circle punches, Cuttlebug, Script emb folder
Embellishments: Pear Tart BH Collection ribbon (Raisin Boat)

MTME Pretty Patterns #67
** Please scroll down for the Delightful Challenges post **
Hi again,
Here's my 2nd post for the day - there is a beautiful MTME Pretty Pattern up just waiting to be played with! I really went out on a limb, too, using these images is so out of my comfort zone.... I think it turned out pretty OK.
I did change the orientation a bit, but I am still very happy with my results. I'm not a sailboat kinda gal, but like I said, the results weren't bad at all. The set I used is Seas the Day in digi format. I was pretty easy to piece together before I printed it. I did pre-color the sails using Gimp (my first try at using this program) and the used my Copics to shade the boat. I then cropped a part of a sentiment from Seas the Sentiments for the side element and then the entire sentiment is printed on the inside (not pictured). I also tried my hand at faux embossing with inks - not the most successful but it still looks pretty cool.
Please, come by the MTME blog to play along with us!
Supplies:
Image: Seas the Day, Seas the Day Sentiments
Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Night of Navy, Brocade Blue (SU!)
Stamps/Ink: Starstruck (Paper Makeup), Brocade Blue, White Craft (SU!)
Copics: W-0, W-2
Tools: Cuttlebug, Distressed Stripes emb folder, border punch (EK Success). ticket corner punch
Embellishments: white satin ribbon
Delightful Challenges
Good Morning! Happy Thursday. I'm looking forward to today, I get to do a training class for most of my day and that means I don't have to talk to grumpy people on the phone!
This week's challenge at Delightful Challenges is up and this week we're celebrating....
I love Christmas, I love making cards and to look at other people's decorations! When my children were little we enjoyed putting them in the car to drive around to look at all "the pretty lights."
The card I created for this challenge is also for another challenge blog, Link Up for Pink. Owner Yolanda approached me a couple of weeks ago and asked me to create a sketch for her challenge blog. Actually, I created two of them. Come back on Saturday for the Link Up for Pink bloghop. Because Yolanda does so much to keep Breast Cancer Awareness in the foreground, I couldn't say no. So I combined her challenge, my sketch and Delightful Challenges into one adorable card.
The main image is Sledding Noah, he's got the sweetest little face and most tender eyes. Even though he's just a little guy, he has the eyes of an old soul and I bet, a heart to match. Now, what does my card have to do with Breast Cancer? Take a closer look at the wreath that is adorning the sleigh.
I made this wreath with little punches, some glue and a lot of patience. Then topped it with a pink awareness ribbon. I thought that was pretty clever. This also gives you a good look at the puffy parts of his outfit that was made with Liquid Applique.
Come join us at Delightful Challenges and Link Up for Pink. It'll be a lot fun!
Supplies:
Image: Sledding Noah
Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Handsome Hunter, Very Vanilla (SU!), Roasted Red Pepper (Raisin Boat)
Paper: Christmas Plaid (unk)

Tuesday Morning Sketches #155
Good Morning! How's the week so far? All I can say, I am sooo happy Monday is over.
I just posted the sketch for this week's challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches. We're sponsored by Cupcake Cards and Crafts, a wonderful digi store! I made this card from one of the fabulous card kits available (Whimsy Cupcake) - it came with all sorts of digi papers, images and sentiments.
Does this have my sister's name all over it or what? If you've visited with Theresa's blog or even just asked her what her favorite color combo is then you'd know all about Theresa. LOL So don't look T, this might be your birthday card!
This was a really easy card to put together, in fact, it's almost a little too easy. I really think I'm missing some needed elements - like ribbon. But as I said yesterday, even though I got a lot done there still isn't enough hours in the day.
Supplies:
Image/Papers: Whimsy Cupcakes Card Kit
Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Pixie Pink
Tools: circle cutters (CM), Scallop border punch (Fiskars)
Embellishments: Fruit Punch Stickles

Paper Pretties Monday
Good Morning everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. I sure did - I got a lot done. But still there's never enough time for everything. Oh well, we just keep moving on, right?
The new challenge is up at Paper Pretties and this week it's an easy one...
I love embossing. I love the texture of it and it adds so much to a card. Here's my card for this week, I also drew inspiration for this card from this week's challenge at Just Us Girls - Faux Window Technique.
This card features the newest image by ARTish - meet Melonie. That is one happy pig! The scene I created in the background is from a coloring page I found on the internet. This was the perfect backdrop to create the window. This was so easy to do and a lot of fun!
Please head on over to the Paper Pretties blog to see some great samples created by the rest of the team and to play along. Have a super Monday!
Supplies:

Just playing around
** Be sure to scroll down for the newest challenge at Raisin Boat**
Hi Everyone,
I am back with another post today. I had printed up these images last week and it's my last effort for the DT call at Wednesday Challenge for ATS. Besides, I won these digis a while back - I needed to use them right?
I also needed some time to just play with some challenges that I just don't seem to get to very often. The sketch layout is from Deconstructed Sketch. Great sketch! And the colors - they are from this week's challenge at Color Throwdown. I have to say, these are definitely colors I love, just not put together. I have such a hard time with brights as it is, but I have to admit this did turn out half bad.
Here's a close up (a little blurry) so you can see her pretty wings. She's soooo cute! Christine's characters, whether they are Kiki La Rue, Pixies or Sugarplums - they are definitely my favorites and have captured my heart for several years now.
Well, I'm off to finish making dinner for my children. It's smelling pretty good, but I better get the rest of it done. Have a super Sunday, thanks for stopping by.
Supplies:
Images: Woodland Daisy, Pixie Lucy
Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Chocolate Chip, Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery (SU!)

Friday Feature with Raisin Boat.... on Sunday
Hi everyone! Happy Sunday to you. So far the weekend has been pretty good, I'm just not ready for it to end. Good thing there is still a day ahead of me to work in my craft corner.
I know I usually feature Raisin Boat on Friday, but today is the day for the new monthly challenge to be revealed! So I couldn't sneak peek it, I had to wait. This month's challenge is...
Fun right?! So many options. Not just birthday cards, but any birthday project you can imagine. Just use those Raisin Boat stamps. Don't have any? Well then it's time for you to start your trial membership for just $5.99 for TWO sets of stamps. Bobbi and Kim are fast shippers, too. So you'll have plenty of time to select your stamps, get them in your mailbox and play with us!
My card is Clean and Simple - but I love the results. And the timing of this challenge couldn't have been more perfect. My friend's son just turned 13 and he asked me to make card. I made this, so manly and so grown-up! The card features Bloom and Stunning Silhouettes stamp sets. I will need to learn how to capture the richness of the Coffee Bean card stock better, but the card is so pretty.
Please, head on over to the Rasin Boat Blog to play along with us. How to and link up is all there, plus amazing designs by the other Crew Members! See you there.
Supplies:
Stamps: Bloom, Stunning Silhouettes
Ink: Rich Cocoa, Desert Sand
Card stock: Ivory Coast, Coffee Bean, Bear Cub, Mud Pie

Delightful Challenges
Good Morning! How's your week going? Mine is going pretty well. Not a whole lot to talk about or share, so I'll just share my card for this week's challenge for Delightful Challenges.
This week we're playing with Bling & Bows...
I absolutely love this card! I am very proud. This is not what I started to create, what I started with didn't turn out so well and with a few other failed attempts it was time to scratch that idea and try again. I am so glad I did because I love this way more than the idea I had in my head for the other card.
I created this card using a great sketch The Sketchy Challenges. I flipped the sketch, but it was a lot of fun to work with.
Supplies:
Image: Lara Ladybug Topper, Ticket Sentiments
Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Black (Recollections)
Paper: B&W digi paper (ACOT)
Copics: 100, B05, C5, C7, E000, E00, E02, R11, R27, R29
Tools: oval cutters (CM), Swiss Dots emb folder, Cuttlebug
Embellishments: Sparles & Gems (Hero Arts), Rhinestones (Recollections), black stitched ribbon (Michaels)

Tuesday Morning Sketches #154
Good Morning! Thanks for coming back. I know - I never have 2 posts on a Tuesday, but please scroll down to see my GDT post for Try Stamping on Tuesday.
But for my regular Tuesday Morning Sketches post - we have a new sketch up and it's a Judged Challenge! Whoo-hoo - I love extra twists. This week we're sponsored by Sweet n Sassy Stamps (have you seen their July New Release!?! Yummy!!). The twist.... Things With Wings
Now this image is called Bluebird, but I just got some reddish brown Copics, so I wanted to try my hand at coloring a Robin Red-breast, my Mom's favorite bird.
This card could be a feminine card, but I leaned more towards the masculine side. I love the gingham and the linen thread and stars. I'm just happy with my card. I hope you like it, too.
Supplies:
Image: Bluebird
Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Kraft, Black
Paper: Black/Khaki gingham (Michaels open stock)
Ink: Tea Dye, Antique Linen Distress Inks (Ranger)
Copics: E13, E17, E18, E29, E33, E37, RV000, RV10, YG06, YG17, YG63, YG67, YR23
Tools: circle cutter (CM), felt, ink applicator tool, Cuttlebug, Argyle emb folder
Embellishments: star brads, linen thread

Guest Designing for Try Stampin' on Tuesday
Good Morning everyone! On the 4th of July, I received a very pleasant email from CherylAnn of Try Stampin' On Tuesday asking me to be a Guest Designer. Wow!! What a compliment.
So I accepted and what a great sketch this week to play with! So my here's my challenge to you - play with Try Stampin' On Tuesday and Tuesday Morning Sketches (we have a great sketch, too) and start your Tuesday off with a bang!
Here's my card and I hope you like it because I am so super pleased with how this turned. Who'da thought I could make something this pretty....
And I used a combination of several favorite companies. The stamped sentiment is from Sweet n Sassy Stamps and the card stock for the rose is my favorite red from Raisin Boat. The tiny roses are from The Beary Scrap. How could I go wrong with those companies on my side? Right?
I am particularly fond of this rose. I bought an .svg from My Time Made Easy (another favorite) and was very intimidated by it. I'm looking at 4 pieces and couldn't figure out the heck all this was supposed to go together. Well, I dove in and that's what happened! So pretty!! (humble, right?) For next time, I would highly recommend hot glue rather than Mono-Adhesive. It would be quicker to set up that way.
I hope you try the sketch at Try Stampin' On Tuesdays - CherylAnn is very sweet lady!
Supplies:
Card stock: Neenah Milled Ivory, Black (Recollections), Roasted Red Pepper, Dill Pickle (Raisin Boat)
Paper: Christmas Memories (Paper Co)
Stamps/Ink: Flowers in Bloom (SNSS), Tuxedo Black, London Fog (Memento)
Tools: Cricut, SCAL, vine leaf svg (SVG cuts, Nesting Mat by Penny Duncan, Rolled Bloom Scalloped (MTME)
Embellishments: pink roses (Beary Scrap), pearls (Recollections), white organdy ribbon (Offray)

Paper Pretties Monday
Good Morning! I hope you all had a great weekend. I sure did! I made some delicious recipes. Friday night was chicken fajitas with red and yellow peppers and onions. Saturday was lettuce wraps with ground turkey and fresh ginger, wrapped in tender butter lettuce leaves. Mmmm. And last night was a roast chicken with red potatoes.
So this week at Paper Pretties our challenge is Beach Inspired. How's this kitty for inspiration? Cowabunga dudes!!
This is Surf. I paired him up with some great digi paper called Big Blue. I followed the layout from a sketch at The Sweet Stop.
Supplies:

Just playing around.... again!
Hi there! Happy Sunday to you all. Can you believe it? I have another to share that I made to play along with a challenge and another installment to my DT application to ATS Wednesday Challenge.
One of the reasons why I am choosing to make another card or two for my application is because of one of the requirements is that you have to use a stamp that is sold in the store. Although I used a CC Designs stamp, when I was making my post the other day, I couldn't find it in the store anywhere. So I figured Christine must've retired that one. I want to use one that is in the store, for sure.
The layout for this sketch came from Sketch n Stash. My stash - the punch from SU! - I don't even remember what it's called. I remember it coordinating with a stamp set called Spring Bouquet - or maybe that is the name of the punch.
One of my favorite things in the whole world are sunflowers. No one can look at them and wrinkle their nose. Sunflowers are just so happy and they are the only flower that seeks the sun and follows it all day. It's really cool to watch. When we would travel between Colorado and Missouri, that was always a highlight to the drive - watching the sunflowers as they moved through the day to keep the sun's rays on their flower faces.
Supplies:
Stamps: Swiss Pixies Birgitta (CC Designs), Mixed Messages (Amy R Stamps)
Ink: Desert Sand, Rich Cocoa
Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Close to Cocoa (SU!), Summer Sunrise (PTI)
Paper: My stash (unknown)
Tools: flower punch (SU!), 5/16" circle punch, Cuttlebug, Swiss Dots embossing folder
Embellishments: Summer Sunrise ribbon (PTI)

Just playing around....
Hi everyone! Happy Saturday afternoon. I have been so relaxed today. I changed my routine a bit and did my grocery shopping last night, so I was able to sleep in and then just play at my table when I felt like it. A huge change from feeling like I have to cram my time in at my table when I can manage it. I think I'm going to make this my new routine. I love it - I feel better and I've actually eaten better, too.
OK, so part of this relaxed day, even though I should be working on design work (which I still will), the first card I made today was just for the fun of it and playing with some challenges.
So this card is for CAS-ual Fridays (use text) and Just Us Girls (sketch).
And look! I actually got purple to photograph well! Whoo-hoo!!!
I hope you enjoy my card and that it inspires you to make one small change in your life that could reap big rewards. My card isn't fancy and highly decorated. The point of CAS right? But it's the fact that I didn't feel so short on time.
Supplies:
Stamps: Hope (Paper Make-up), Breezy Butterflies (Raisin Boat)
Ink: Pale Plum, Perfect Plum (SU!)
Card stock: Neenah Milled Ivory, Pale Plum, Perfect Plum (SU!)
Tools: Cuttlebug, Floral Fantasy emb folder, watercolor brush

Friday Feature with Raisin Boat
Good Morning! Happy Friday to you! Thank you for visiting me today, I am really excited to share my card with you that I created with the newest shipment of stamps from Raisin Boat. This set is called All in Toile. Sooo beautiful.
The challenge with my Monthly Card Traders group was to create a Double Dutch Card. What a fun card to make.
So here's the front of it. The colors I chose to use are Pear Tart (a lovely light lime green) and Coffee Bean which is as rich of brown as good coffee. I did use a sketch from Sunday Stamps which was perfect for this type of card.
Card opened
Be sure to go over to the Raisin Boat blog - there's still a little time left to join our first challenge.
Supplies:
Stamps: All in Toile
Ink: Rich Cocoa, Pear Tart (Memento)
Card stock: Ivory Coast, Pear Salad, Coffee Bean (Raisin Boat)
Tools: Cuttlebug, Beaded Circle Nestie die, Apron Lace border punch (Fiskars)

Delightful Challenge
** Please scroll down for the MTME Pretty Pattern #66 post **
Hi there! Thanks for coming back. I do love our visits.
It's the first of the month which means Wendy has loaded the New Release to the Digital Delights by Louby Loo store! I know of a particular school teacher that will LOVE these images. However, I showed this card to my sweet daughter and her response was this: "Oh Mom! What a cute card BUT the sentiment is all wrong." So this week's challenge at Delightful Challenges is:
PRIMARY COLORS
My card...
I think the card is adorable and I personally like the sentiment! I know, such a mom thing to say. I created the using a great sketch that I found on Utah Divas International. Now I'm new to this blog, but I get the impression that it's a play for fun with no time limits.
I hope you join us!
Supplies:

Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Brilliant Blue, Glorious Green, Yo-Yo Yellow (SU!)
Paper: School Days by Becky Kress

MTME Pretty Pattern #66
Good Morning! Did you all enjoy your 4th of July holiday? I did - I played in my craft corner most of the day. The morning started off nice and sunny but there were storms, too. The kids stayed at my Mom's so they could see the fireworks.
So I am pretty excited to share this card with you today because I got to design the Pretty Pattern we're playing with these next couple of weeks. It is pretty basic but there is so much room for interpretation.
I kept my card easy, too. I love having words be the focal point of cards. It's also a great way to show the pretty digi papers that My Time Made Easy has available. I haven't seen a digi paper pack in the store that I didn't fall in love with!
This paper was so fun, that I also thought it would be great to make a hand-made button to bring out one of the great flowers in the paper.
Cute right? I love making these buttons. Ever since it was a challenge at Just Us Girls, it is one of my go to embellishments.
I was thrilled that the challenge at ColourQ this week are represented in this digi paper, Textile Blooms in the Tapestry Trends pack. The colors this week are Poppy Parade, Calypso Coral, Brocade Blue and Night of Navy.
Now it's your turn - head on over to the MTME blog to play along! We'll see you there.
Supplies:
Image: Fine Finish
Paper: Tapestry Trends
Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Night of Navy
Copics: B00
Tools: 5/8" & 7/8" circle punches, Crop-a-dile, Diamond Glaze
Embellishments: Denim Baker's Twine, Navy Blue satin ribbon (Offray)

Just playing around...
Good evening everyone! I know I'll have few readers this evening, at least for those in the US. My kids are at my Mom's house and they're going to go see fireworks at the lake. I opted not to go since the traffic gets so bad and I still have to be to bed on time and get up for work.
So I've really enjoyed my day off. I spent it with my kids and playing in my craft corner. I made a really neat card that I'll be sharing with you on Friday, but then I decided to find some other challenges to play with. I've been missing the challenges at All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge. I haven't had a chance to play and I am always so sad that I miss it. I even printed a cute Kiki image to play with their challenge they had the last couple of weeks and I still missed it. So it's Wednesday and a new challenge was issued but this one made me absolutely squeal! They are also doing a DT call! So I created this card to throw my name in for consideration.
I also used a really good sketch from Mojo Monday - another challenge blog I rarely get to play with.
I have to share this... this is not the card I set out to create for this challenge. I started out with making a wedding card. I have the bride stamp, Sugar Plums Bride Emma and she is really pretty. I made her dress and veil from vellum and I added beautiful glitter accents and she was looking perfect. AND THEN the unspeakable happened! I ruined it! I was inking the image to give it a bit of a distressed look to match the papers I was using and whammo - I got a big ink splotch that couldn't even be made into a happy mistake. I was crushed. So, I took it apart, salvaged what I could and then tossed the rest. So sad.
Well, so I left, took the kids to my Mom's and had a bit of dinner and then came home and made this one. She's cute, too!
To Christine and the rest of the team - thank you for looking and for your consideration. Crossing my fingers.
Supplies:
Stamps: Spring Swiss Pixies (CC Designs)
Ink: Tuxedo Black, Pear Tart, Angel Pink
Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Black
Paper: Country Drive paper pack (Echo Park)
Copics: 100, E000, E00, E02, E13, E17, E18, E53, R11, YG17, YR04, YR07
Tools: Cuttlebug, Basket Weave emb folder (SU!), oval cutters (CM), Scallop border (Fiskars)
Embellishments: white grosgrain ribbon (Offray), Glitter Liner (Raisin Boat), hand-made flower

Tuesday Morning Sketches #153
Good Morning! Happy Tuesday! We have a great sketch up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and Meljen's Designs is sponsoring. I've also announced our new DT members. You really should head on over there for the fun.
Oh, but wait.... Let me show you my card first.
This is one of my favorite images my Meljen's Designs and probably one of my first images. I then created the flowers with a couple of different sized circle punches. I love my card!
And here's the roses, I plopped some iridescent beads in the centers to add a little more pretty.

Paper Pretties Monday
Good Morning! I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was OK. I woke up with a horrible and terrible sore throat yesterday. Both were pretty much gone by mid-day, but it didn't help with my productivity at all!
I did make a delicious recipe yesterday for dinner. We had Cornish game hen for dinner, and I rubbed pesto between the skin and the bird and then baked it. Way yummy!
So this week at Paper Pretties we're playin with BRIGHT SUMMER COLORS. I didn't incorporate a lot of color into my card, but do like how my card turned out. I used a fun sketch from iSpy Sketches.
I forgot to take a close up of this new, totally adorable image by ARTish. This is Pool Party and I added Diamond Glaze to the water and the pool edges to give it some shine and dimesion. It looks good in real life.
Supplies:
Image: Pool Party
Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Sky View (Raisin Boat)
Paper: Spa Refresher digi paper
Copics: B00, B02, B05, C-5, C-7, E30, E34, R02, Y11, Y15, YG00, YG03, YR04, YR07
Tools: oval cutters (CM), Diamond Glaze

So this week at Paper Pretties we're playin with BRIGHT SUMMER COLORS. I didn't incorporate a lot of color into my card, but do like how my card turned out. I used a fun sketch from iSpy Sketches.
I forgot to take a close up of this new, totally adorable image by ARTish. This is Pool Party and I added Diamond Glaze to the water and the pool edges to give it some shine and dimesion. It looks good in real life.
