Good Morning! I hope you're all doing well. I ended up staying home yesterday, I just couldn't breathe or sleep. Ugh! Do you have any idea what it's like to be home and not be able to sit at your craft table for more than 30 minutes? Ugh!! I actually got up at my normal time and showered, but I went right back into pjs and made the necessary calls - 1st to my carpoolers, 2nd the call in line and 3rd to my boss. Then I went back to sleep and slept until 10:00. Another ugh! I don't like sleeping that long. Now I had a sleep and Benadryl hangover.
Anyway, let's get to this week's challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches. We're sponsored this week by Digi Doodle Shop. What a fantasic digi shop - this one meets both the cutesy, fun tastes to beautiful, vintage tastes. This beautiful image I used today is from Digi Doodle Shop and I just want to say thank you to Judy for giving it to me to play with.
This baby girl is soooo adorable! She was so easy to color and she fit in well with my sketch. I used some sweet papers from the Country Drive pack by Echo Park (my favorite papers!) and then added some hand-made embellishments, texture and a little sweet sentiment.
Here's my hand-made flowers. You know, when one you're home sick you just want to lay around and veg in front of the TV? Well, there's nothing ever really one, but I did manage to see a couple scrapbooking shows on PBS. One of them is called Scrapbook Soup. Well it inspired me to come back to my card and add some little hand-made flowers. I am really pleased with how my card turned out.
Please join us this week over at Tuesday Morning Sketches. Enjoy your day!

Love to Create Challenge #4
Good Morning! I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was very busy and on top of it all I got hit with something. I don't want to all it a head cold, but I don't feel sick. I just haven't been able to breathe in and out of my nose. Not fun! So because breathing seems to be an important function in life, it's been very difficult to rest lately. So I don't have a Paper Pretties card to share, but fortunately I finished this card a few weeks ago, so I do have something to share with you.
This week's Love to Create challenge is....
My Monthly Card Traders group's challenge was to create a double pocket card. So this is what I came up with an adorable image from this week's sponsor Robyn's Fetish.
Now is this not a happy card?! I saw this daisy and knew it was perfect for this particular card style. My stitching was accomplished by paper piercing and white gel pen.
And here's the piece that slips out to reveal it's message.
I hope you join us at Love to Create - we love seeing what you create.

MTME Pretty Patterns #49
** Please scroll down for the Delightful Challenges post **
Hi! Thanks for coming back. It's time for another Pretty Pattern for My Time Made Easy. I really like using words as a focal image so I am really pleased with this card. I also just discovered this AWESOME digi paper pack in the MTME collection. So pretty....
As you know, I struggle with photographing purples. Trust me, this is a beautiful card in person! I just can't seem to get my lighting right! Urrggh!!! I created the main image a bit bigger than intended so my focal image sort of hides some of the other elements - but I still like it. I hope you do, too.
Come play with us at My Time Made Easy - there's still time to play along with Pretty Palette, too. Pretty Palette and Pretty Patterns are a winning combination.
Supplies:
Images: My Little Friend, So Fortunate
Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Perfect Plum
Paper: Plum Pretties
Copics: G99, V91, V93, V95
Tools: Cuttlebug, Fantasy Floral emb folder
Embellishments: white satin ribbon (Offray)
Delightful Challenges
Good Morning Everyone. I hope you're all doing well. I had a day off yesterday, of course it was spent running a child from the orthodontist to the dentist back to the orthodonist, but hey - it was a day off.
This week's Delightful Challenges challenge is a fun one....
This is the perfect opportunity to use the wonderful digi papers that Digital Delights by Louby Loo has to offer. That's the opportunity I took and my features a fun pattern from the recently released Fabulous Fifties paper pack.
I haven't made one of these cards in awhile. The tutorial is on SCS for a flap card is here. I also added ticket sentiments and then (not pictured) and little strip of more patterned paper to create a pocket. The idea here is to slip in a gift card.
I created the flower myself. Let me just say this blunty, I stink at making ribbon flowers. I watch so many You Tube videos and I still can't get it. But this one turned out better than many of the others I attempted. Buh-lieve me.
Anyway, I hope you join us at Delightful Challenges this week.
Supplies:

Card stock: White card stock, Pink Pirouette
Tools: Cuttlebug, Swiss Dots emb folder, Coluzzle circle cutter, Dots border punch (MS)

Good Morning! It's Tuesday so it's time for another sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches and this week's challenge is sponsored by Pixie Dust Studios. DT member Kathy created our sketch for us.
I'm really disappointed in my card and I really should've made another, but time wasn't on my side. So this is what I have to share with you....

Paper Pretties Monday
** Please scroll down for the Love to Create Challenge post **
Hi again! Thanks for coming back for the Paper Pretties Monday post. This week's challenge is called...
Spring
I think the word itself is open for interpretation. It may lead you to play with flowers or plants images. It may lead you play with pastel colors. So with these thoughts in mind, you may be confused with my card. I am playing along with challenge that said to do black and white with a splash of color. Well, I wanted my splash of color to be yellow. Yellow screams Spring to me, so I wanted everything else to only enhance and make that color pop!
This adorable image and sentiment is part of a new set called Rosebud. He is sooo cute peeking out of the center of that rose.
I did use a sketch from The Sweet Stop to help me put the card together. Their spin this week is to use punches or dies. And as I mentioned earlier, the black and white with a splash of color came from Our Creative Corner.
Supplies:
Image: Rosebud
Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Black, Sahara Sand
Paper: Black & White digi paper by JPDesigns (ACOT)
Copics: R02, R11, W-0, W-2, W-3, Y06, Y11, YG63, YG67
Tools: Circle cutters (CM), small and large oval punches

Just playing around...
Hi everyone. I have a card to share with you that took 12 hours to make! LOL!! Really, I started this card at 10:00 this morning and got most of it together. Then had to leave for the day, so back at 10:00 tonight I colored the image and finished my card.
I love how this card turned out. This is a Z Fold card and I found several tutorials on You Tube and SCS for it. A lot of fun! I'm playing along with a few challenges, too. The one that started the whole idea is over at All That Scraps Wednesday challenge for fun folds. Then I thought I might as well add a color challenge and I found two. Just Us Girls and CMC Challenge group are basically the same colors. JUGS is a softer palette, while CMC is a brighter palette - so I guess I sort of went with in between hues. Well, anyway, I hope you like what I did....
I used another one of the CC Designs stamps that I selected as a prize. This is Hello Birgitta. I am also using a button and hat pin that I recently purchased from a store I just found called Stamping Scrapping {dot com}. Great store! Be watching for more on TMS - Cindy has agreed to sponsor. Yippeeee!!
Anyway, back to the card. Here's the inside view. The sentiment is from a SNSS set, One of a Kind.
And a view from the top.....

** Really. I want you to see my card. Pleeeease.**
Hi there! Thanks for coming back for this week's challenge at Delightful Challenges which is....
Use your scraps
This is always a great challenge, because we all know that scraps are always around! So I created my card with a quilt in mind. I don't know why I would think quilt when playing with a snail image, but hey, it worked for me. This sweet little image is Sandy the Snail.
I did use a great sketch from Clean & Simple Stamping and this also fits the challenge (in my opinion) at CASual Fridays for paper piecing.
I hope you decide to join us this week to create a bunch of lovlies while making your scrap stash a little smaller.

MTME Pretty Patterns #48
Good morning!! I hope your week is going well. It's been pretty quiet at work, so it's sort of disheartening knowing that I'm stuck there when I can be getting so much crafting done at home! LOL I really wish I would just win the lottery so I can quit my job and just be a full time mom and crafter. Not that being a mom is ever a part-time job.
But I am at work while blogger is here presenting Pretty Pattern (#48) at My Time Made Easy.
I am sooooo proud of this card!! I love the sweet softness feminity to this card!! And have you seen this digi paper pack?? Oh my goodness, it's goorrrr-geous!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #133
Good Morning! We have a fabulous challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches - it's the Judged Challenge this week and Jessica created a fantastic sketch. Per the note from Jessica, when she created the sketch she had a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 square card plus a little scrapling in mind. Now it's the Judged Challenge which means there's a twist to it. Marie brought us the twist. Since it's 2/14 - she made the challenge to be....
I figured out that to get a scrapling, you create a regular 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card. Cut it down to be 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 then you're left with a piece that is perfect for the scrapling part. Here's what I made....
We are sponsored by DRS Designs and I was given this adorable image to play with. Isn't he just the sweetest?! I love how my card turned out.
This also fits a couple of my other favorite challenges. Raise the Bar said to create with Chocolate & Roses
and iCopic said to add hearts.
So please come play along with us - spread some love, too. Afterall, it's Valentine's Day.
Supplies:

Hi again. Thanks for coming back to my second post of the day. This one is for Paper Pretties, of course. We have to wonderful digi sets debuting today.
The challenge this week is....
Use a flower
My card features Flourette...
Is he not the cutest cat? I showed my card to my son and he says "is that a cat? The just get into everything." LOL It was funny.
I did use a couple of challenges to help me put this card together. I used the sketch from Card Patterns and the color challenge (summer sun, early espresso, cajun craze, very vanilla) from Color Throwdown. I didn't have exactly those colors but I think I came close.
Please join us over at Paper Pretties, you're allowed to combine it with other challenges.

Love to Create Challenge #2
Good Morning! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. It was great to see so many people come out to play with Love to Create's inaugural challenge. This week's challenge is sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs. A line of digi stamps that range from the sweet and lovely to the sexy and spicy. Lindsay's designs are so much fun to color.
The theme to this week's challenge....
And here's my card featuring Little Honey's Winter Wendy.
Isn't she adorable?! OMG, I love how she turned out. Once again, purple didn't photograph very well, but I am so sooo happy with my card. I did the sweet sketch from my old friends at Sweet Sketch Wednesday to create my card. It was perfect for it.
Head on over to play along with us. We're a fun bunch of gals who Love to Create.

Just playing around...
Hi there! Happy Saturday night. I was just sitting at my craft table working on some DT stuff when I decided I needed to set the "work" aside and just make a card because I wanted to. Not that I don't LOVE my DT work, but sometimes one must just play.
I playing along with There She Goes challenge because I haven't played in a long time and I am playing along with I {heart} 2 Stamp. I missed out with playing along with her monthly challenges for the prize drawing at the end of the year since I discovered her monthly challenges a month late - but since I play to just play, I don't really care about prizes.
The weather here is windy, cloudy and a bit chilly - feels a bit like Fall, so I played with Fall colors. The card isn't one of my best, but it's cute and was fun to put together.
And it was fun just to color a stamp with some ink. No Copics (*gasp!*) on this card.

MTME Pretty Patterns #47
** Please scroll down for Delightful Challenges **
Hi again,
I'm back with my 2nd post for today. This time presenting another Pretty Pattern (#47) at My Time Made Easy. I really had fun with this card. It's pretty simple but I like it because this was my attempt at black & white with only a little splash at color. Even my image is b&w. I like it. I hope you do, too.
My card does have a white base but is basically black, greys, silver glitter with a splash of turquoise. Even the flowers!
Supplies:
Image: Singing Silhouette
Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Black
Paper: Glitter matstack (DCWV)
Copics: B05, C5, C7, C8
Embellishments: Prima Flowers, brads
Delightful Challenges
Good Morning! I hope this week is going really well for you. It is for me, too. I can't believe Thursday is already here. Already February is off to a rocket start.
This week's challenge at Delightful Challenges is...
And here's my card featuring a very sweet Mermaid.
Now I did do a little no-no. I didn't have the right sentiment in my collection of Delighful Digis by Louby Loo, so I did create my own with some stamps. This is why I need to not do my cards last minute. My apologies to Wendy.
However, not a no-no was to use this great sketch from ICSketches for inspirational layout. This also fits the challenge for The Pink Elephant who is celebrating their 3rd birthday. Happy Birthday TPE!!
Supplies:
Image: Mermaid
Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Pink Pirouette
Paper: Unknown
Copics: E000, E00, E51, E53, R00, RV13, YG00, YG03, YG17, W0, W2, W3

Tools: Oval cutters (CM)

Here's my take on the sketch....
I had so much fun with this card. It's a mixture of old and new supplies. The paper, I'm sure you'll recognize, as the Prints collection by SU! - this one is Certainly Celery. Love to Create Challenge #1
Good morning! Thanks for visiting for the very first challenge for the newest challenge blog on the block. Love to Create. This is going to be a fun challenge blog with sketches, inspirations and great sponsors. Bugaboo is sponsoring this first challenge and will be a regular.
This week's challenge is a sketch plus Pink, Red & White....
I created this embellishment myself. I crocheted the flower and then added the button. It was a little hard to stamp on the button because the surface was slightly rounded. But gotta love Staz On, I was able to add the sentiment fairly well.
Here's the sketch....
I do hope you'll play along with us. It'll be fun!
Supplies:

Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Pink Pirouette, Real Red
Paper: Embossed paper (unk)
Copics: C8, C10, E000, E00, R27, R29 RV000, RV02, RV10, W-0, W-2
Tools: Scallop Circle Nesties (Spellbinders), Cuttlebug
Embellishments: Adhesive Glitter Shapes (Recollections), crocheted flower (by me), button (my stash)

Just playing around...
Hello everyone! I have had a great Saturday. I actually spent most of the day right here at my craft table. I've been working on the cards I'll feature this week blog posts and I'm really excited about what I have to share with you.
I ended my evening with making a card just for fun. I am playing along with two of my favorite challenges and my favorite stamps. The sketch is from Just Us Girls and it's the Anything Goes Challenge at All That Scraps. I am featuring the sweet Birgitta Blowing Kisses stamp that I won.
Do you recognize this paper? Yep, it's been in my collection for YEARS!! It's called Sarah by Stampin' Up! and I love it. That's why I've hoarded for all these years.
I have a new favorite. I discovered a store that I have fallen in love with. It's called The Beary Scrap. Now I found it while shopping around for 1/8" width Scor-Tape. Now the primary existence of this store is all about their Tear Bears and other animal friends. Click on the link, you'll fall in love, too. Anyway, I purchased the Scor-Tape and I also bought some flowers and seam binding. LUUUUVVV IT!! I know seam binding isn't new on the papercrafting scene, but I think it's so cool.
Kimm prices are reasonable, she ships quickly and really takes care in packaging your order so that it all arrives safely. I am impressed, I am now a devoted shopper (when I get more money, I'm going shopping) and I highly recommend her products. She has a lot to offer.
OK - it's after midnight now and I have officially run out of steam.
Supplies:
Stamps/Ink: Birgitta Blowing Hearts (CC Designs)
Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest
Paper: Sarah (SU!)
Copics: B95, B97, BG10, E000, E00, E02, E34, E37, E51, E53, G00, G02, R00, RV000, RV10, RV13,W2, YR20, YR23
Tools: Triangle embossed edger (MS)
Embellishments: Lemonade seam binding (The Beary Scrap)

Bee Crafty #59 - Good-Bye
Hi everyone,
It is with great sadness that this is my last post for Bee Crafty. Bee herself has decided that the challenges needs to stop. With a toddler and a new baby bee on the way, time is a commodity for her and as she put it, she just can't give the attention to the blog right now. Who can blame her!?
I do hope that you'll join us for the last Bee Crafty challenge - this month's challenge:
My card features my most favorite stamp in the Bee Crafty. This is Whimsical Girl and I know you've seen me feature her many times before.
I love the natural appearance to my card. I drew inspiration from one of my sister's favorite challenge blogs. The sketch is from CASual Fridays. I definitely see why Theresa likes their challenges so much, I had a lot of fun!
Supplies:
Image: Whimiscal Girl
Stamps/Ink: Sentiment (Stamping Bella), Serene Silhouettes (SNSS)
Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Kraft
Paper: Zach's Life Collection (Little Yellow Bicycle)
Copics: C5, C7, C8, E000, E00, E02, E34, E37, G28, R27, R29, RV91, RV93, RV95
Tools: Scallop border punch (Fiskars)
