Tuesday Morning Sketches #134

Good Morning!  It's Tuesday so it's time for another sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches and this week's challenge is sponsored by Pixie Dust Studios.  DT member Kathy created our sketch for us.

I'm really disappointed in my card and I really should've made another, but time wasn't on my side.  So this is what I have to share with you....

I did incorporate the color challenge from My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette.  The colors are gorgeous, I just think I should've done more with the layers than I did.

Supplies:
Image: Catching Your Heart
Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest, Kraft, So Saffron, Chocolate Chip
Paper: Everyday Blessings (PTI)
Copics: B00, B02, E000, E00, E02, E30, E33, E34, E37, E53, E57, G99, R02, Y06, Y11, YG63, YG67
Embellishments: Roses (Michaels), Kraft grosgrain ribbon (Offray)

Your image is colored beautifully!

(I was disappointed in my card this week too...DD told me it looked like a "rainbow threw up on it"! We will knock 'em dead next week, right?!)

Cute image and your DP really pops against the Kraft background! Great spin on the sketch!!

Adorable card Melissa! I love the blue and kraft together. Great job cutting the center instead of adding corners. So cool!

Love this card, Melissa. I think it is just the right amount of layers! I might have to CASE this for my 'men's basket'. It is a great masculine card.
