Tuesday Morning Sketches #594

Hello!  Thank you so much for stopping by.  The newest sketch is up at the Tuesday Morning Sketches and it's a super fun one.

My card features Gerbera Daisy and Stitched Rectangle dies from Pink and Main, Retro Petals Turnabout stamp from Concord and 9th and a random dots embossing folder I got from JoAnns some years ago.  So before I show you my card, I want to ask you a question.  Where do you find inspiration?  My card I shared with you last week was actually inspired by a blanket I'm crocheting my daughter.  This week, my card is inspired by two things - I found a card on Pinterest that I liked it made me think of baby toys that are black and red.

So here's my card.  I didn't have room for a sentiment - well I guess I could've added one before I embossed the white panel, but I didn't think of it.  And on the sketch, the star elements, I really didn't know what I could add to the card that would actually fit, so I had to just let it go.

I hope you like the card and that you'll join us for this week's challenge.  See you over at the TMS blog!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #593

Hello! Thank you for stopping by!  I appreciate your visit and I do hope you'll leave me a comment so I know you were here.  The last revisited sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and this one is by former DT Member Laura Jean Nygaard.  This is Tammy's pick.

My card features poppy stamp from Altenew, circle (solid cut line) die by MFT Stamps and Stitched Circle dies by Pink and Main.  The paper is another old matstack from DCWV.

The sentiment I used is from Raisin Boat (no longer in business) and orange Nuvo Drops.  One of these days I'm going to purchase a photo box so my pictures look better because in real life, this card is beautiful and the colors are strong.

I hope to see you over at the TMS blog to join in the fun!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #592

Hello!  Thank you for stopping by.  The latest favorite sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and this one is Patti's pick.  She picked one of Andrea's sketches and I have to agree, it's a favorite of mine, too.

My card features nothing but stash.  The paper is from an Valentine's paper pack that I bought a few years ago to make Valentine's cards for my sister to give her students.  I, personally, am not a big fan of Valentines Day so I'll probably have this paper forever!  Anyway, I used rectangle stitched dies from Pink and Main and heart die from Spellbinders.

I did use some gold washi that I found in my jar of washi tapes but I did forget the 3 embellishments per the sketch.  And full disclosure this was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest - it was a post for Simon Says Stamp and that card had like 7 hearts in rainbow (or almost) order.  I couldn't go that overboard but I do like how this turned out with the 3 hearts.

Please join us at the TMS blog, join in the fun and leave some love for the team.  See you there!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #591

Hello and thank you for stopping by my blog.  I'm glad you came to visit.  The latest sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  This week is my favorite sketch pick and I chose a great one by Debbie.

My card features items from my stash.  The paper I used is from a DCWV mat stack that I'm sure everyone has in their collection, it's been around for a very long time.  The focal image is from a past Small Die of the Month Kit from Spellbinders.  The scallop edge was created from a die set I purchased from Pink and Main last year or maybe two years ago.  Time flies.

I chose this fun and funky paper to go with this pretty floral because I just wanted happy!.  I would feel happy if I were given this card.  Wouldn't you?

Anyway, I sure hope you join us over at the TMS blog.  It'll be a lot of fun and the design team really did a fantastic job with their cards.  See you there.
