Tuesday Morning Sketches #569

Hello!  Thank you for stopping by.  I do appreciate your visit.  The latest sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and it's a fun one.  Easy elements.  Classic design.  It's a sketch that you can use over and over again.

My card features more the Concord & 9th birthday present from sisters.  This time it's the Kindness Blooms turnabout stamp set, more of the 4 colors of ink and card stock that got and I also used this sentiment Glimmer plate I picked at Hobby Lobby on clearance for $4.  I love that!  I did use a Spellbinders die to cut it out and it was a bit too narrow, but it works okay.

I love this card!  It's so sweet and delicate.  This is definitely my new favorite gray!  Love this color!

Be sure to come by the TMS blog and the team's blogs - leave them some love, they made some super cards!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #568

Hey there!  Thank you so much for stopping by my blog.  The latest sketch is up for Tuesday Morning Sketches and it's pretty cute, if I say so myself.

So my birthday was a couple of weeks ago and I have the most generous sisters.  I was able to place a big order with Concord & 9th.  I love their new colors and I've always been a fan of the turn-about stamps.  I purchased 4 of their new colors, so my card features 2 of them.  Aqua Sky and Dove.

My card also features the Eyelet Cover Die, Inspire stamp and die set, the sentiment is from a stamp set that I don't think is available anymore all from Pink and Main.  The sentiment I made using the Essential Rectangle foil plate, but I didn't foil it, I tried to do letterpress but it didn't work.  I like what it did do though.

I hope to see you over at the TMS blog and that you'll join us for the sketch challenge.  Please be sure to leave some love for the team.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #567

Hello!  Thank you so much for stopping by.  The latest sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and this one is by Andrea.  I had so many ideas with this sketch but I managed to only make one card.  And believe it or not, I actually stamped.

My card features Snail Mail stamp and die set by Altenew.  This is the cutest little envelope ever!  My card also features a sentiment strip from the Happy sentiment cards from Simon Says Stamp.  I couldn't keep it in a single strip so it doesn't look quite the way I envisioned.  But still pretty cute.

I used Nuvo inks for the colors on the envelopes, the base I stamped 2nd generation using Smoke ink by Simon Says Stamp.  I also used a couple of embossing folders and then finished it off with some Nuvo Crystal Drops.

This is a simple note card but cheery!

I hope to see you over at the TMS blog to join us.  Be sure to leave some love for the team.  I do apologize for having to put comment approvals on my blog and the TMS blog, but I've been seeing way too many dirty comments being left.  Why do people do that?  Do they really think this appeals?  Ugh!

Alright.   See you there!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #566

Hello! Thank you for stopping by.  The latest sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and it is so much fun. Debbie created this one and I enjoyed it working with it.

My card features the July Large and Small DOMs and the May (I think) Small DOM from Spellbinders.

The paper has been in my stash for ages but I believe it's DCWV.  I could be wrong.  The letters I cut out 3 times, 2 black and then the decorative yellow paper.  I know the "wishes" part doesn't stand out so great in this photo, but it's looks nice in real life.

I made this for a friend of mine who's birthday is Friday.  She lives in Chicago area so we don't get to celebrate our birthdays together, but we never forget each other.  My birthday is Saturday.  I'm getting too old to celebrate them anymore.  But I guess it is one's own personal holiday.

Anyway, I do hope that you'll join us at the TMS blog for this great sketch challenge.   See you there.
