Hello everyone! Thank you for stopping by. Happy Memorial Day to those in the US - I hope it was lovely holiday weekend for you. I'm pre-scheduling this post as I'm enjoying my time with my family. Today's sketch is inspired by on leave DT member, Jessi.
My card today features the beautiful stamp set Petunia Builder by WPlus9 and inks by MFT Stamps. The base layer of the flower and the middle layer of the flower are stamped in the same color, the first layer being 2nd generation stamping. I love how this card turned out. There's very little bulk with only one of the flowers adhered using pop dots. I also die cut a piece of vellum in a heart shape and then embossed it.
The sentiment is also from MFT Stamps, Butterfly Sentiments. The background stamp I don't know where it came from. It was gift from Tami Mayberry many years ago.
Please join us and don't forget to leave the team some love!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #404
Good Morning! Thank you for stopping by. The sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and it's a good one. It's basic and simple and truly a blank canvas. We're also sponsoring - there's a super cute die up for grabs.
My card was actually inspired by one I saw on Pinterest. That one uses some really great washi tapes but I wanted to use paper. I also got to use a die that I picked up probably 2 years ago on clearance for 97 cents.
This a great notecard that is easily massed produced. I made 3 of them. Two for my Card Angel project and one for another card group. Hopefully you can see in the card below that I also made one as a shaker card using tulle. This technique I saw on a Jennifer McGuire video and was pretty excited to see another use for this tulle I have in my closet.
These were so quick that I almost just kept going! Please be sure to join us at the TMS blog and leave some love for the team.
I will be around as much as possible this week but my son graduates High School on Friday so I have family coming in and they're here until Thursday next week which is also the day I fly out to Chicago area to attend my oldest son's graduation from Navy Basic training. So I'll be around as I can but honestly, I know I'll be scarce.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #403
Hi! Thanks for stopping by. The sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and it's a really cute one! Janice inspired this sketch and our sponsor this week is All Dressed Up. My card today features I Love My Puppy.
I don't often promote other blogs unless they are sponsoring TMS, however, Jennifer McGuire issued a challenge to share a card with anyone who might just need a little sunshine injected in their day. Post on Instagram (#sharehandmadekindness) - she might even give a prize.
I enjoy drawing inspiration from Jennifer, she's really very talented. I rarely use her techniques because I find she (unknowingly) enables me. I want to buy what she shows. Unfortunately, my budget is way down on the ground and my want is way up in the clouds. But I do like that she is all about sharing with others.
I used Hippie Chick matstack by DCWV. I did some simple coloring with my Copics. My card was rather easy and will be sent to one of Card Angel's little girl. I have 2 patients that are undergoing treatment for cancer, I mail them each a card every week. It's fun to use up some cards I've made in this way and I hope that I make a difference in their life, even in the most smallest of measures.
Please join us at Tuesday Morning Sketches and then share your card with someone who might need a little pick-me-up - even if that person is a total stranger.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #401
Hi there! Thank you for stopping by. I hope things are going well. The sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and this week's sketch is inspired by Jessi.
My card features a super cute die set from Papertrey Ink - A2 scalloped notecard, a stamp set by Hero Arts called Let Love Grow and Vine embossing folder by Darice.
Is this not the sweetest, girliest card ever? I love it! This die set is so much fun. It was a little hard to cut out - I don't own a Big Shot or extended pads for my Cuttlebug. But I got it to work.
Please head on over to TMS blog and join in the fun. Also be sure to leave some love for the team. Have a great day!
