Visions of all thing sweet....

Good morning everyone!  I have to post this super quick - I forgot to set it for auto-post last night so I have to post quickly and then get busy getting ready for work.

I posted this card yesterday on Crafting with Deedee's Digis and I really love this image.  I used Gingerbread Holiday stamp set and am so pleased with this card....

One year my Mom decided she and the kids were going to make gingerbread houses for other grandmother and a neighbor.  My kids were still pretty little so you can only imagine how well these houses were put together - but in our eyes, they were magnificent!  This memory was triggered when I saw Deedee's Gingerbread Holidays set for the first time.  I colored this with every color of "icing" I could think of. And if you look close, you can see that I added coarse glitter to the gumdrops along the eaves so that they looked like real gumdrops.

And since every home is decorated on the inside, this one is too. I carried the the candy cane theme to the inside and added a simple and very sweet sentiment (also included in the set) to finish it off.

Supplies:
Card stock:  Neenah Classic Crest, Chocolate Chip, Real Red (SU!)
Paper:  Christmas Stack (DCWV)
Copics:  E33, E34, E37, G00, G02, R02, R27, R29, RV000, RV02, RV06, RV10, Y15, YG00, YG03
Tools:  Cuttlebug, Candy Cane embossing folder, 1 1/4", 1 3/8" circle punches, scallop punch (SU!)
Embellishments:  coarse glitter (Martha Stewart)

I do hope you like my card and that it inspires you to build and share Holiday memories.  Have a super sweet day!
