Paper Pretties Monday

Good Morning!  I hope you all had a great weekend.  Mine wasn't too bad.  It was rainy and yesterday it rained ALL day.  It was definitely a good day to spend in my room at my craft table.

This week's challenge is up at Paper Pretties and this week it's all about Independence Day.  My card is featuring another new digi by ARTish, this is Washington....

I love my card!  I found some digi papers on sale at A Cherry on Top for $2.10 and wow what a package it was.  I selected 3 patterns to use on this card.  I love the brightness of these colors.  I also used the sketch from The Sweet Stop to create my card.  What an awesome sketch!  I wish I had thought of this one.

Come play along with us!

Image: Washington
Card stock: Neenah Classic Crest
Paper: Patriotic digi paper by HFD (ACOT)
Copics: B95, C-5, C-7, E34, E37, E53, R02, R27, Y11
Tools: Scallop border punch (Fiskars), Scallop Circle Nesties (Spellbinders)

Very cute! I love the popcorn in his hand. I like the embossing on the background paper.

I wish it would rain here. It's just miserable hot!! The fires are terrible.
