Tuesday Morning Sketches #558

Hello!  Thank you so much for stopping by and I am so excited that your here.  The latest sketch is up on the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog and you're going to to be blown away by the design team's cards.

My card - I am so happy with how it turned out!  The picture isn't bad - the base is a soft gray but it is also very cloudy outside.  We got hit with some pretty bad storms and the sun hasn't come out yet.  But anyway... my card features Queen & Co Love Jar kit and hello die by Hero Arts...

I also used a rounded corner stitched rectangle die by Pink & Main and the foliage is from a past Small DOM by Spellbinders.

So as you may know, Queen & Co specializes in fun and creative shaker cards but if you know me I'm not bit on lots of dimension.  I am all about making 1 postage stamp cards.  So this card, I'm trying to mimic an old Ball tinted glass jar.  Not really glass since you can't see through it, but hey, it's okay.  And instead of "Ball" and I have hello.  The paper stack that came in this bundle is just so pretty!  The pink foliage is the other side of the gray piece I used.  I used both sides of the paper.

My card is a very loosey goosey take on the sketch and I am just so pleased with it.  I hope to see you over at the TMS blog.  Be sure to leave some love for the team.  See you there.

I don't know that I'd call the card loosey goosey. I would call it dainty and fresh looking. Very pretty colors. Hugs, Debi

Awesome card!! Your card is a great example of putting your own interpretation on our sketches... even when they are your own. :)
