Tuesday Morning Sketches #632

Hello!  Thank you for stopping by.  The latest sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  It's a nice and easy one.

My card features a Mini Delight stamp set from Altenew.  Wait! Did I just stay stamp set?  Yes, (Patti), I still stamp every now and then.  You all know how much I love my dies and I admit,  I do have a lot of them.  But I still have some stamps, too.  This week's card is a very simple note card.  No dies were involved.  Just some stamping, some very neglected Copic markers, my paper cutter and an embossing folder.

This is a Mini Delight set from Altenew that is a monthly subscription.  Honestly, I forgot all about these!  But I really wanted an easy like Sunday morning card and this fit the bill.  I dug up some left over from a card kit paper from Simon Says stamp and a $1 embossing folder.  Easy peasy.  Personally, I think it looks more like a watermelon than a cactus, but who am I to judge?  LOL

And I have to admit, I purposely did this card to show Patti that I can still stamp.  Hahaha!

Okay - head on over to the TMS blog and join in the fun. Don't forget to leave some love for the team!

OH! Melissa, I love your card, great match with the diamonds to the embossed background. Yeah! it does look a little like a melon ;)

OMG!!!! Hahahahaha Melissa!! I can totally understand a die-addiction with as many cute ones as you have! I would have never thought of the watermelon but now that you mention it….lol. I do love this and my first thought was - yes - those are so my colors and then second thought was….what dies? What no dies? Haha!! I like the dimension of the stripes on the cactus a lot even though you planted the watermelon thought in my head. Yikes does this mean I need to stamp and color instead of cheat like I have been for the past couple?lk

Nice of you to give Patti a shout out! The dies have really spoiled us stampers. A little practice, like on this cute card, will keep your skills sharp.
