Tuesday Morning Sketches #680

Hello!  Thank you for stopping by.  I appreciate your visit, it's always nice to see you.  The latest sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and I love this one!

I am busy designing my Christmas cards.  I usually send 3 to 4 different designs out.  I have my "special" category which will be featured later - these are my super intensive cards that I usually reserve for my family.  These are my "general" cards - meant for others, these include my card traders group and friends and extended family.  None the less special, just a little easier to mass produce.

This card features the Small DOM and the Stamp/Die of the Month Oct '22 from Spellbinders.  I wasn't sure this set would come in time for this challenge, but I am so glad it did!  I picked up a nice Christmas paper pad from Hobby Lobby since it was on sale.  I then stamped the image, colored it (quite sloppily, I might add) and then stamped it again so I could do the gold heat embossing without ruining the embossing with the Copic coloring.  This was so easy to do with my MISTI.  I die cut the sentiment from gold mirror card stock and stuck it to the layering piece.

I think this card turned out quite lovely!  I hope you like it, too!

Please head on over to the TMS blog and leave the team some love.  They work so hard week after week to inspire you.

I do like it too. That floral spray is beautiful. The background paper is very pretty too.

Lovely is a perfect word for this beautiful card!! You're such an inspiration, maybe this will be my year to actually get cards out in time-which means I BETTER get started!!

If this is a general card, I can't wait to see the special cards! This is so pretty. I will have to try the stamp, color, restamp, heat embossing technique because this looks great!
