Hello! Thank you for stopping by. The latest sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches. I think this sketch is really a lot of fun and don't get pigeon holed by the shape. A shape is a shape and can take on many forms. My card took the shape of an Easter egg.
Did I just say Easter? Yes, I did. And for good reason. Honestly, who makes Easter cards in November? Well, I told you before that my monthly card traders group is doing an alphabet challenge and it's time for E. So I did an Easter Easel card with Embossing.
Here's the front of the card. It features an egg svg cut that I cut from light blue card stock and then stenciled the design. A few months back Tangii sent me a bunch of stencils that she no longer used. I hadn't used them yet but now I have so many plans! Well one of the stencils she sent was perfect for the egg. I embossed a yellow card stock panel using the Fall Flowers embossing folder from Spellbinders. I figured that as long as the acorn doesn't show, it just looks like flowers. Originally I was going to make a wreath so I put these little die cut bunnies together and then changed my mind about the wreath, but still used the bunnies.

So pretty. Yes you did very well with the "E" challenge.
Oh my gosh! I saw the card front and thought, "this is so cute" then I scrolled and saw the easel... such a brilliant design!!!!
Cute bunnies! You rocked that E challenge with an Egg on an Embossed Easel Easter card.
This is adorable and those bunnies would have been really cute on a wreath also!! So actually you made an Early Easter Embossed Easel card hahaha! I'm taking this as an A-OK to make Easter cards as early as I want thanks to you! Easter and spring is my fav, and worth going through the winter for. :o)
Soooo pretty! Those bunnies are adorable!!
