Hello! Thank you for stopping by! The latest sketch is up on the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog. It's similar to last week's but with some slightly different elements.
My card - this one features some digital papers I've had for a long time. Now that I have my printer back online I decided to print some paper. This card, the paper is doing all the work and all I did was die cut a few layers and stamped a sentiment. Easy!
The center image is hiding a beautiful bird but there wasn't anything else I could about it. I love the bookprint and if I know my classics, I think it's a page out of Tom Sawyer. I love the idea of using bookprint on cards and art journals but I just can't bring myself to tear up an actual book.

4 Encouraging Thoughts:
I too like the printed background and have actually torn pages out of a book. Love the vintage look of your card.
This is very pretty and classy, I'm with you on the bookprint subject! Haha I'm not up on my classics at all but good for you for recognizing what the print is from. This reminded me I've been wanting to use print music too. I have a copy of Hande's Messiah from when we went a few years ago - I really want to find it and use it for some Christmas cards and scrapbook pages!
Really creative card. It's like a journal entry. Fabulous.
I love the bookprint paper! And your cool stitched frames!
