Good Morning! Do you remember the ornaments I made the other day? No, I haven't improved on them but I did create some great packaging. Kelleigh Ratlaff Designs created these wonderful gable boxes just for these types of ornaments.
Cute huh!? I love these little boxes. You could ungroup and remove the center cut outs if you needed a cute little box for other gift giving.
Thank you for stopping by.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #280 - 12 Days of Christmas Day 8
Good Morning! It's Tuesday and the last sketch of 2014 is posted on the TMS blog. Bugaboo is our sponsor so my card is featuring an adorable Bugaboo image. It's also working with my 12 Days of Christmas.
These penguins are so darn cute and they're having such a great time decorating a tree. I wish I had been able to capture the sparkle and the shine of the sequin star. You'll have to pretend you see it.
Head on over to the TMS blog and join us!

12 Days of Christmas - Day 7
Hello - I am super late with today's post. I have to say I was super excited about this project when I found it on Pintrest which lead me to this blog. I saw them and knew I'd have to do these.
I am sad, they didn't come out very well. I thought I used the correct paint and I did it like they said on the blog but, well, you'll see....
As you can see in the reindeer the paint didn't stay smooth, solid coverage but I had to chuckle - the streaking mess and separation of the paint made him look like he has lashes and a cute expression. I freehanded the antlers from felt and then used some distress ink to color them. I colored some pearls with a black (100) Copic marker for his eyes. I added a blob of hot glue and covered it with red flocking for his nose. Added a bow to finish it off a little.
The Santa ornament looks better, but it's very transparent. I'm happier this with one.
So if anyone has some tips and tricks on how to make these better, please let me know. Thanks for stopping by.

12 Days of Christmas - Day 6
Hello - thank you for coming by. Today's project is featuring those really cool electronic candles. I have to admit, the only ones I had ever paid any attention to were the little tealights. But I saw these pillar candles on tv and thought they were pretty neat, but pretty expensive. But the commercial that I saw for them also came with these transparent sheets to decorate the candles and I thought I could do that, too.
I found these pillars at Michaels and they were on sale plus I had a coupon that I could use on sale items, too, so they were way inexpensive. I found some great files on the Silhouette Online store that helped me with my idea.
I cut the images using my Cameo and white vinyl. I measured the protective sheet that was already wrapped around the candles (but desperately ugly) and then cut clean transparency. I then cut a piece of scratch paper the same length, which ended being something like 10 5/8" and wasn't about to figure out with measurements what the middle was. So I folded it in half and marked up the crease with black marker. Then smooth that flat to place the piece of transparency and added the cut piece eye-balling the center of the image. Then just wrap the transparency around the candle and tape it in the back.
I can dress these candles up all year to fit the occasion or season! Very inexpensively, too.
Thank you so much for stopping by.

12 Days of Christmas - Day 5
Good Morning! Happy Saturday. Today's 12 Days of Christmas share incorporates my regular Saturday Scrapbook with Deedee's Digis. My page today features a sweet baby Deedee. I lifted these photos off her Facebook page so I could create something special just for her.
My page features the beautiful papers and labels in Blue Christmas kit. The word art and embellishments are ones I added from the My Memories Suite software.
The review is already in, Deedee love the page! My work is done.
Have a great Saturday!

12 Days of Christmas - Day 4
Good Morning! Thanks for coming by and sharing in my 12 Days of Christmas. Today's project is a super easy gift packaging idea that is perfect for hand sanitizers, chapsticks or small bottles of perfume.
This little gift bag is approximately 4 inches high and about 3 inches wide. The bag is Apple Favor Bag by Lori Whitlock. I just replaced the apple with this super sweet Christmas Cardinal by Designs on Cloud 9. These are so easy to put together that if you needed favors for a Christmas party you could easily mass produce these in a day or a weekend.

12 Days of Christmas - Day 3
Hello there! I am so glad this week is going by so quickly, the faster it goes the more I can share with you and I won't have to contain all my excitement.
Today's project isn't how I originally intended but super cute anyway. I was planning on turning this into a flower arrangement and am still going to since the kids sort of swiped the candy after the photo was taken.
I did not have the easiest time taking this picture. But you get the idea. The Santa's Sleigh is by Lori Whitlock available in the Silhouette Online Store and Lori Whitlock dot com. This is cut file is sooo easy to put together. I cut the base out of Red Delicious card stock by Raisin Boat. The trim pieces and sleigh blades I cut from gray card stock and then covered them in silver embossing powder. Then filled with candy. I think for my friend, I'm going to make that flower arrangement and add a wreath to the front.
Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day.

12 Days of Christmas - Day 2
Hello! I have been making some super awesome projects to share for the next 12 days. This one I actually made weeks ago and I can't believe I can finally share it with you!
This is the Christmas Countdown Tree available at the Silhouette Online store or SVG Attic, designed by Jodi G Warner. The papers I used are Bazzil cardstock for the base and Holiday Lodge collection by Recollections.
The tree was a little tricky to put together, if you look close, you'll see I'm off just a little. But it wasn't hard and it took a day to do it. Love how it turned out.
It's not too late to make this. You could even double up on dates so perhaps two people can share the tree. Thank you for stopping by. Please leave me a comment, say hello.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #279 and 12 Days of Christmas Day 1
Good Morning! Happy Tuesday. The sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches, it's the last Judged Challenge of 2014 so the added twist is holiday BINGO and it's Day 1 of my 12 Days of Christmas.
For the next 12 days (12/9 thru 12/20) I will be sharing with you Christmas cards, ornaments, gift ideas and so much more! I cannot wait to share all my projects with you!
To kick off day 1, I'm sharing my Tuesday Morning Sketches card that I created featuring a lovely image by our sponsor, Doodle Pantry. This is Winter Wishes. I chose to use the top horizontal row of the BINGO card (glitter, jingle bells and ribbon).
I'm happy with my card, but in retrospect, I do wish I'd gone a little more woodsy. Debbie's sketch is a lot of fun to work with and it really went together in a snap, but the image is so nature oriented that I think I should've continued the earthiness.
I do hope you'll join us at Tuesday Morning Sketches. Have a great day and thank you for stopping by. Please don't lurk in the shadows. Leave me a comment, say hi. Let me know you were here.
