Thursday's with Lindsay

Good Morning,

First I want to tell you about my afternoon yesterday. I had a terrific day for stamping, worked on challenges. But then the phone rang. To make a long story short and spare you the drama, it was the school nurse - Levi had fallen down during recess and hurt his arm. So I picked him up and took him to the ER, which wasn't too horrible, but I wasn't the one sitting there with my arm throbbing in pain.

After an hour we were finally called back. His vitals were checked, he was admitted and then he finally got to have the x-ray done. Guess what! His wrist is broken. Yippee. So then we get his arm splinted and we were out of there after only 2 hours. That has be a record where emergency rooms are concerned.

But you're not here to hear about my son's plight. You're here to see what I have to share with you from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff, so here you go...

Lindsay is introducing her stamp sets and this is from the newest one. You all know how much I love coffee so I actually squealed when I saw this set. So cute! It does feature a few images and coordinating sentiments and also has a separate border called Coffee Jitters. To create my card I colored the image with Koh-i-noor pencils and OMS. The dp is from Prima - The Breathe Collection and then added chocolate pearls for a bit of embellishement. Lindsay's Stamp Stuff is sponsoring ICSketches this week, so the great sketch came from there. Be sure to check that out and as always - there's a freebie, so you'll have to visit the Team to find it. As always, they are linked in my sidebar.

OK - I'm not ready for coffee yet. I need more sleep. Poor Levi was up at 3:00 with his arm hurting and couldn't go back to sleep. So I stayed up with him, he's sleeping now but I still have 2 other children to get out the door. I'm ready for a nap.

Have fun! Thanks for stopping by. I will have a post later on today, too. I did mention I participated in a couple of challenges.

Oh, so sorry about your son! I watched one of mine break an arm in half at a football game and then to top it off, the hospital couldn't get his surgery scheduled until the Monday after the Friday night game. A whole weekend on morphine with a compound break! Two hours in an emergency room is indeed miraculous. Hope he's feeling better soon! Love how you colored that image on the card.

Now I'm really feeling ashamed! All that going on and you still got to post a project. And a great one at that! I hope your son is doing better soon.
