Thursdays with Lindsay

Good Morning everyone! I hope you're all well. I had a phone interview yesterday and I have a face-to-face interview scheduled for Friday. I'm not sure I want to go back to work, but wish me luck anyway.

Today is one of my absolute favorite days! I love my Thursdays with Lindsay posts. I am really excited about these cards I'm going to show you because I am soooo proud of them. Before I show you, I need a disclaimer here. No! I am not ready for Christmas! With that said here's a card that I made with Lindsay's release from a couple of weeks ago. This is actually a set of cupcake wrappers and toppers, I just used a topper for my focal image.

I am really loving my bargain purchase of DCWV Christmas Mat Stack papers. I colored Santa with Copics and then dressed his hat up with a bit of Sugar Glitter. I did use a great sketch from Lord Have Mercy! - Mercy has a sketch challenge every Tuesday and they are always so user friendly.

I took this photo because I wanted you to see the dimension that I added by pop-dotting the focal image between each layer.

This next card is a new release. This little guy is called Cool Yule and he is way cool!

OK, you're going to need to click on the photo in order to see Lindsay's other release. It's called Embossed Mats, as Lindsay put it... think digital Nestibilities. She also has a great freebie that features an embossed mat that is today's freebie. Just go visit Lindsay and she will give you the download. I created this card for JUGs challenge - wild card for a photo. So I laid this out very carefully in a word document so that the mat, penguin and greeting are printed as one layer. Then I cut out the inside of the mat and then layered to the red card and cut again. Fun card!

Thanks for stopping by! Now go visit the rest of the team to see what they have ready to show you. I've heard there are a couple of really cool tutorials that Lisa and Shannon have! They are all linked up in my sidebar.
