12... 11... 10... 9... 8... HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Good afternoon,

How I spent my New Year's Eve and so far the 1st day of the year - I had 5 sketches from The Greeting Farm to catch up on! My great-grandmother used to say: how you spend the first day of the New Year will be how you're year will go. With that said, I'm still not out of my pajamas, I've been in my craft room having a blast, I have a stew in the crock pot and I do need to go start on the loaf of bread, but it's a very laid back, restful, no pressing issues day!

Before I share my cards with you, I just want to wish you all a very happy New Year. I pray that 2010 is a good year for you all, that whatever issues in your life will be resolved and that the Lord blesses you bountifully.

Sketch 12 - I used the adorable free digi from Marina for this card. I thought it only fitting to use this image on this card. I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and OMS. I wanted this card to be nice and simple - I'm thinking it's a little too simple.

Sketch 11 I used Keep Cozy, one of my very favorite snowman sets (which one isn't right?) and 12 Days of Snowflakes paper from My Time My Made Easy. I love the black and white contrast.

Sketch 10 - Haha! This was a really fun one to do. I don't make "boy" cards very often and I haven't inked up this little guy in a while. He was begging to play in a meadow. So I created him one with a cloud template and Garden Green ink.

Sketch 9 - The cute fish and sentiment are from Down by the Pond. Clean and Simple. Gotta love it! I created the bubbles with a couple of stamps from Polka Dot Basics set from PTI.

Sketch 8 - I found some images that were sent to me of this fine lad. Ian dressed in his Clan Gordon kilt and tartan enjoying the Scottish Highlands scenery. His sentiment is Thank You in Scot.

I hope you enjoyed all my cards - I know this is a rather lengthy post but thanks for sticking with me.
