Tuesday Morning Sketches #135

Good Morning!  I hope you're all doing well.  I ended up staying home yesterday, I just couldn't breathe or sleep.  Ugh!  Do you have any idea what it's like to be home and not be able to sit at your craft table for more than 30 minutes?  Ugh!!  I actually got up at my normal time and showered, but I went right back into pjs and made the necessary calls - 1st to my carpoolers, 2nd the call in line and 3rd to my boss.  Then I went back to sleep and slept until 10:00.  Another ugh!  I don't like sleeping that long.  Now I had a sleep and Benadryl hangover.

Anyway, let's get to this week's challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  We're sponsored this week by Digi Doodle Shop.  What a fantasic digi shop - this one meets both the cutesy, fun tastes to beautiful, vintage tastes.  This beautiful image I used today is from Digi Doodle Shop and I just want to say thank you to Judy for giving it to me to play with.

This baby girl is soooo adorable!  She was so easy to color and she fit in well with my sketch.  I used some sweet papers from the Country Drive pack by Echo Park (my favorite papers!) and then added some hand-made embellishments, texture and a little sweet sentiment.

Here's my hand-made flowers.  You know, when one you're home sick you just want to lay around and veg in front of the TV?   Well, there's nothing ever really one, but I did manage to see a couple scrapbooking shows on PBS.  One of them is called Scrapbook Soup.  Well it inspired me to come back to my card and add some little hand-made flowers.  I am really pleased with how my card turned out.

Please join us this week over at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  Enjoy your day!

Ah sooo adorable, Melissa. Kids are great at that age. Beautiful papers, textures, flowers and coloring. Looks like the card could be rotated to have the infant sitting upright. Very versital image will have to check it out.
