Hello! Thank you for stopping by. The latest sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches. It's fun and I think a bit creative.
My card features cut files I got from the Silhouette Design store. Honestly, I'm not sure what I was thinking when I made this sketch but when I sat down to make a card, at first I was thinking surf boards but then I saw these super adorable popsicles. I love popsicles!
I cut the designs out of white cardstock and then colored them using Distress Oxide Ink. The first pop is Festive Berries and Saltwater Taffy, the 2nd pop is Tumbled Glass (although not too visible) and the 3rd pop is Blueprint Sketch and Tumbled Glass. The sticks are Vintage Photo. I then embossed a piece of vellum with stars embossing folder from JoAnn's. The sentiment is a print & cut from Silhoutte, too. I printed it on sticker paper. Then I finished it off with some dots here and there using Nuvo Drops. My card came together very quickly and is a fun card. I admit, I don't usually make 4th of July cards, but it was fun!
I hope to see you over at the TMS blog. Join in the fun and leave some love!
