Thursdays with Lindsay

Good Morning! I hope you're week is going well, it's on the downhill slide now.

This week's Thursdays with Lindsay card features some awesome images from her Doodle Flower collection. I love this collection - it screams paper piecing! One of my favorite techniques. The dragonfly and the sentiment are also included in the collection and you can find that here.

I also followed a couple of challenges. The first is The Pink Elephant which was to use Pink to honor Ella - it's her birthday. And the other is Crafts 4 Eternity which is the sketch, use something clear and do an inking technique.

This image shows a close up of the paper piecing and the inking technique I did. I don't own circle Nesties, so I developed my own way of creating this faux mat technique using my old Creative Memories circle cutters. I used Pink Pirouette ink.

Here's a close up of my clear element. I punched out a heart from a transparency and then to tie in the button that is the center of the flower, I added another button over the heart. This also effectively hides the glue dots.

Lindsay always offers a free digi for every $5 spent. Great deal! She always has the coolest freebies every week, so go on over to her blog to see what eye candy she has to share with you and get in on a freebie! The rest of the team also has some amazing projects to share with you, too. Thank you so much for stopping by.
